“Clean and comfortable, conveniently located near Puerto del Rey Boatyard”
Reviewed May 20, 2011

We needed a place to stay while putting our boat away at Puerto del Rey and this is definitely the place to stay for that. The rooms were very clean and the breakfasts were marvelous. We saw rain, sometimes heavy, on 3 of our 4 day stay but the view on the one clear day was magnificent. The Inn is only 10 minutes from the boatyard so our commute was short. We plan to stay here again on our return to Puerto Rico next winter.

Room Tip: A quaint place to get away from hustle and bustle

From the moment I contacted them to the moment we checked out, this place was incredible. Professional, warm, helpful... all are adjectives I could easily use...magical is the best description. Located high atop a mountain in the Puertorican Rain forest, this bed and breakfast was a great find, and we will DEFINITELY return there in the future. At night you can hear the famous Coqui frogs singing, at day you can look across an amazing landscape to see mountains behind you and oceans in front of you. It was 20 minutes drive from Old San Juan, 30 from the Airport. Easily accessible by the major roads and centrally located to all the great things on this part of the island. PERFECT for rain forest explorers. The rooms were clean and well equiped, the breakfast included fruits from the various amazing trees they had ON THE PROPERTY, and each morning you were greeted with home made bread in the lobby (one of the owners is a professional chef.) They Owners were incredibly helpful as well - they made reservations and provided maps to local eateries, and even made reservations for us at a few excursions (if you go, be SURE to go night time kayaking at the bio-luminescent bay - it was incredible!) TWO MAJOR THUMBS UP!

Room Tip: All the rooms were amazing!

Stayed here with two friends during spring break.stayed in room #7 which had 2 twin beds and one queen sized bed. The room was super clean and very comfy. The owner was very nice and helped us with whatever we needed and had ample information on nearby places to eat and tour. He was even helpful over the phone before we arrived by giving us directions to the hotel from the airport in San Juan rather than relying on the GPS. The location is beautiful and a perfect place to stay if you're interested in exploring some different parts of Puerto Rico, including El Yunque, taking the ferry to Culebra or Vieques,and/or the east coast of the island.I would highly recommend this location if you're looking for a simple B&B thats extremely clean with an incredible staff and a beautiful location.

This is a wonderful place - beautiful location, very professionally run, very friendly and homely, immaculately clean, excellent food. We stayed here for three nights and would have definitely liked to stay more. Michael, the owner, is very helpful and friendly. Highly, highly recommended.

Stayed in room #1. Large, clean room with a great view. My boy's loved the dog Shakira. Breakfast was very good. I would stay again. The forest does get loud at night with tree frogs, etc.

We travel to Puerto Rico three times a year and always choose to stay at the Ceiba Country Inn. We keep our sailboat at Puerto del Rey Marina (3 miles, 10 minutes by car) and stay at Ceiba Country Inn when we are getting our boat ready for cruising. The staff is friendly, the location is great, and the breakfast is excellent. And we meet the most interesting people there -- at breakfast or happy hour on the terrace. My wife likes their coffee so much she has switched to their brand (Yaucono).

If you are hiking El Yunque, kayaking the bio-luminescent bay, driving the scenic route across southern PR, or using the marina like we do, this is the best place around.
