I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean with a great selection of books and DVDs to choose from, and also very affordable. Roger, Anika and Jeremy were great and met our every need. The trip to YS Falls that was recommended was a perfect day trip. I would definitely stay here again.

certainly a nice place to stay for a couple of days. jeremy plays a great guitar (when asked), not only ol' reggea tunes but james taylor and beatles as well. anika makes nice bereakfast, and a GREAT restaurant isn't far away (strikey's) (the greates restaurant on the island however - little ochi - is quite a ride away). things are certainly easier if you've got your own car since transportation is poor in the village. a nice little beach is in walking distance. roger helps where he can, but you get charged for everything ... well he runs the place and has got to make ends meet too...

We had such a wonderful relaxing 6 days we stayed for 2 more nights.
Nuestra Casa has a lovely open air verandah with a near constant breeze coming in to gently tinkle the wind chimes.
There are plenty of different places to sit, magazines to read or just gaze into the garden at the flowers and birds.
We met some lovely people. who joined us for meals and trips and we were sorry to leave. Talking of meals, Anika and Jeremy will cook a good variety of great food whenever you want it. Also, a great place to eat at night is Strikie T's just up the road. Chris, the owner is a brilliant chef so if he is in town make sure you go at least once.
Kanute the gardner runs a great boat trip to Pelican Bar and Black River. He has a small boat (max 6 guests + 2 crew) and he can get further up the river than the bigger boats who have to stop before the low bridge. Just by the bridge is Sister Lou's River Stop and you must have some of her crabs and crackers - small but so tasty! You are not given a timetable of what to do or when on the boat trip- the day is yours so you can stay as long as you like swimming in the lagoon, eating crabs or chilling at Pelican Bar. Altogether a great day.
Roger at the guesthouse is very knowledgable about the local area, will take you on trips or just up to Pedro Cross if you need the ATM. He is very attentive to the needs of his guests but not at the cost of your privacy.
Get up early to meet Lilian, Roger's mum who sadly is wheelchair bound but loves to meet new guests.
Our room was very comfortable with a huge bed, plenty of wardrobe space and books to read. It really does feel like you are a house guest.
A big Thank You to all the team, not forgetting the lovely dogs, Jimbo and Girly.
We will be back!!

What a truly wonderful guesthouse in which to enjoy the wonderful area of Treasure Beach! Roger, Lillian, Anika and Jeremy were so hospitable. Comfortable rooms, gorgeous house and a perfect place to stay, in my opinion. We traveled with a 2 year old, so our only problem was trying to keep him out of and away from all the many treasures displayed around the house!
Otherwise, a great experience. We'll be back!

This was my third trip to Nuestra Casa. I last came on 2 occasions 5 years ago when I was working in Kingston and I have been desperate to go back ever since. It really is paradise – unbelievably good value for what is quite simply the best place I’ve ever stayed on holiday. I can’t wait to go back again!

Billy’s Bay is quiet and relaxing. Save for the odd fisherman we never had to share the beach with anyone. Roger, the B+B’s owner, is a brilliant tour guide and is happy to organise any trip you could want. We went to Pelican bar, Appleton estate rum tour, Yves Falls and on the black river safari all of which were great fun. The heart of treasure beach is a short walk away but Roger is also happy to provide lifts. This means you can enjoy the buzz of the main hotels, bars and restaurants but then retreat to a perfectly quiet room. Since my last trip the rooms have all gone en suite and a wonderful local restaurant opened up about 200 meters away. The breakfasts at Nuestra Casa are delicious and very substantial. We tended to head out early in the morning and to have breakfast at brunch time which would normally see us through to dinner. The Nuestra Casa team were always happy to cook you anything at any time.

Having been to some of the bigger resorts in Jamaica I would recommend this over the all-inclusives any day. The staff at Nuestra Casa really go out of their way to make you feel at home but still leave you alone to get on with your own thing. Treasure beach feels (and I believe is) very safe. I first came with a friend (when we were in our early 20’s), returned with my mum (about a month later) and recently stayed with my boyfriend for a wonderfully romantic holiday. I know all of them loved it as much as I do. I suspect this place is perfect from everyone!

We recently stayed at the Nuestra Casa guesthouse for 2 wonderful weeks. We were made very welcome by Rodger, Lillian, Anika, Jeremy, the house is in a beautiful setting with the beach close by. Breakfast was great and the rooms are comfortable. Went on a fantastic boat trip with Kanute and his wife to Black River and the Pelican Bar, and went with Rodger to the SY falls and to Mandeville, great days out. The Treasure beach area is unspoilt and long may it stay that way, it is quiet and laid back, you dont come here for the variety of food or shopping,or picture book beaches, you come for rest, relaxtion and to chill and get away from it all. Just sit back and listen to the sweet sound of reggae, or the Nightingales singing their many tunes, soak up the sunshine, the culture and meet and talk to the local friendly people. For us it was a superb holiday in a really comfy, safe and friendly guesthouse. p.s. Strikey T's is the place to eat, good food.
