There is absolutely no finer dining in Treasure Beach, much less then entire South Coast of Jamaica. Axel is a master chef, having beat out top chefs in cooking competitions throughout Jamaica. He and his lovely wife, Andrea, operate the restaurant--which is an absolute joy. We had passion fruit martinis, two types of pea soup, shrimp a la plancha, scallops in Pernod cream, and homemade guava ice cream. Everything was delicious.
The setting is beautiful--and romantic. Service is tops.
I would recommend reservations, especially in high season. I would also suggest this is not a place for children, unless they are especially well-mannered.
