My husband and I camped here for 2 nights. Stayed in Riverside, Area 4. Beautiful private campsite with all the amenities closeby. Nice park to do a lot of bike riding. Numerous trails and lots of beautiful beaches although swimming not recommended due to high bacteria levels when we were there.

We love the Pinery! The trails are fabulous, the beach is amazing and the entire park is set up wonderfully! We will certainly be back, many, many times!

We wanted a relaxing day on the beach and our visit to Pinery exceeded our expectations. We arrived early and had first pick of the day use beaches. We decided on beach 8 for no particular reason, as all of the parking lots were empty at 10am on a Saturday morning.

The beach is very clean and there are picnic tables available for use throughout. There is also a lot of shade available from the trees along the perimeter, depending on your preference.

It was a beautiful day and as the beach got busier it wasn't very loud or rowdy. There were tons of groups picnicking, playing soccer and swimming etc and it never felt crowded.

The water is beautiful and you can't beat the sandy floor. Will definitely be back.

Pinery is one of my favourite places to camp as well as have fun. Great for the whole family. Clean washrooms. Huge store and restaurant. Visitors center with cinema, ampirtheatre and close walks to the beach. Lots of childrens programs and day rentals. Always busy, always fun and one of my favourite places to go.

We come here camping each year. An outstanding park, with lovely beach. It is never crowded, especially in the campground area, and you are often 100 metres or more away from the next group on the beach. Really nice. Clean lake. Excellent 13 K trail system for walking, running or cycling. Some of the best children's programs of all the provincial parks. Fun and interesting Visitor's Nature Centre. You are able to rent boats, canoes and bikes, although we did not. We did however, use the very large on-site store, restaurant and ice cream parlour.

I took my dog for a walk each morning, early, on the beach. The family and I enjoyed a sunset party on the beach each evening. Again, never crowded and very enjoyable. The sunsets on Lake Huron are a MUST SEE!

Camping is very good, but if I had one word of advice - avoid weekends (unless you like it noisy). Weekends have a lot of younger groups with music and drunken revellry, and many family reunions (also noisy). Try to attend Sunday - Friday, so you can truly enjoy everything this great park has to offer.
