We were lucky to pop in to this restaurant. Just visiting in town, and looking for a nice lunch, and I saw there were lots of people inside, so we popped in. It was obviously a choice for the locals, and we were very happy to see a section devoted to Cape Breton specialities. We had the fish cakes and seafood chowder. The fish cakes came with a chow (green tomato relish... which was better than mine). It tasted like a nice home-made meal. Sure, the fish cakes could have had a bit more fish, but they were fluffy, well seasoned and nicely done. The service was excellent, friendly people! I would definitely recommend this place to others visiting this area.
