We stayed here in May 2010 and again in June 2012.
We had large, clean and comfortable rooms on both occasions, the hotel has an old world charm creating a special atmosphere for your stay.
Meals have to be taken in town, but all within walking distance.

Room Tip: rooms in the main or crows landing are excellent, havent stayed in any of the others.

We stayed in room 301, which is an upstairs room with a king bed. The room has two perpendicular windows which allow for two different views. The balcony is also a very nice touch to the room. The room is decorated nicely and gives the feeling of staying in an old west hotel. Parking is very limited, and the rooster is up long before 6am. Dining can be a challenge in Stewart. Breakfast is not included with the inn, and you are on your own as far as where to dine. We ate at two different restaurants in Stewart, and both were staffed with friendly folks. No one in the Stewart/Hyder area is in any hurry, so expect to have a long conversation with who you are dining with.

Stayed here one night and wish we had stayed for more. The place is wonderful! Loved our room with a king bed, room for a small sofa, table and chairs and a small porch. The bathroom was big, not one of those that you have a hard time turning around in. Clean, well decorated! The only downside was the internet didn't work very well....slow!! Other than that, it was a perfect stay. Don't miss the old made over school bus that serves fish/chips, chowder etc in Hyder. That was good too!!

We had one of the best rooms in the Inn. With a private deck upstairs, it was very relaxing. I could not believe such a beautiful in such remote part of BC. I just wish there was a good place for dinner in town, which we couldn't find. The breakfast was great in town.

Room Tip: Room 301 had a private deck and king size bed.

This property was charming and top notch, all the more so because of where it is. We recently stopped in Stewart on our way to AK from OR, and spent a night at the inn with our family of 5. The inn was rustic, charming, and far exceeded our expectations. It had all the comforts we would want and then some. The rooms were spacious, well appointed, and the bathroom exceedingly big. Additionally, common areas were available throughout the hotel. Highly recommend this option vs. the other more traditional motels/hotels in town.

Had a great time with my family in this little spot. On our way to Alaska, we stayed for one night here...Stewart is a very very small town, quite close to the Canadian/American border.

Upon reading other trip advisor reviews, we decided to chose this.

From the outside it looks like a tin shed - but once you step into the hotel area, it's very nice. I appreciate them keeping it rustic and true to the country styles nature. The hotel is sectioned into little buildings that contain about 5 rooms. You walk into this building and it's like you're entering a house - with a common area that has a laptop for guests use, a tredmill, a sauna, chess game and a nice area to sit and chat. My internet connection was fast and efficient - i had no problems at all.

The young man at the reception was very friendly and nice - although we could not find him to return the keys. We were advised by the cleaners to leave the keys in the box provided. It was a very comfortable room and i would have nothing to complain about.

The only bad thing i'd have to say is that there's no breakfast provided, but you can go to a close by resturarant that's literally across the road.

This hotel was a unique find. We had rooms 301 and 310. Both rooms were large and comfortable with a nice view facing the estuary. The hotel also gave us a 5 dollar off voucher to the Rookery (which had an amazing breakfast!) Ripley Creek Inn was also very close to several attractions, the Bear river where you can watch the salmon run and bears fish, Salmon Glacier, Bear Glacier, and a 5 minute drive to Hyder, AK. My only complaint with this room would be you can hear your neighbors and even the people underneath you conversations. Other than that this was a great hotel with friendly staff.

Room Tip: Room 301 has a king bed and a nice view facing the estuary. It is large with a dining table, mini fr...
