A lovely, lovely guesthouse. I stayed one night before travelling home after a week on the small islands. I was warmly welcomed by Fiona, even though I turned up with muddy boots and a couple of hours before check-in time! The room was compact but very tastefully decorated. Although sold as a single room, the bed was larger than a standard single. The bathroom, just along the corridor was fabulous with a big corner bath and separate shower, and shared with just one other room.
After a good night's sleep I enjoyed a very good breakfast - a well stocked buffet table and a traditional cooked breakfast with endless good coffee!
The waitress was very friendly and made a point of having a chat.
If I return to Mallaig, I shall definitely head for Seaview.

Room Tip: The single is a shared bathroom, but other rooms do have en-suite.

At Seaview the lovely Fiona and her crew ensure that your stay is warm and comfortable. It is the little touches that make the difference, like the delicious chocolates in your room and the collection of walking sticks and umbrellas near the front door. The house is spotless and the breakfasts, cooked by Fiona herself, are outstanding. They were the best we had in our 4 week holiday in Scotland.
Seaview is right on the waterfront so it is only a short walk to any ferries, restaurants and the railway station. Fiona is always ready to help and has a good knowledge of the area and where to visit or where to eat.
We stayed only 2 nights at Seaview but left wishing it had been for 2 weeks. Top star hotels could take some lessons from Seaview. We would go back tomorrow !

Excellent, spotless guest house. Only stayed one night before getting ferry to Kylesmorar. Rooms very tastefully done and very clean. Fiona very friendly and helpful. Secure parking at rear of guest house. Breakfast great. A must to stay here if staying in Mallaig. For evening meal and few wee drinks The Steamin pub just across the road, food great and huge roaring coal fire

Top marks for presentation in every respect! Our spotless en suite double room, although without a harbour view, was modern and tastefully decorated and furnished, a pleasant change of style from many establishments. Fiona was friendly and helpful, generous with supplies for in-room tea and coffee making, and accommodating with an early superb breakfast to see us off to the Skye Ferry, one minute away.

We stayed at Seaview for one night. We received a warm greeting. Our room was a twin room. The bed mattress are a wee bit on the soft side. But we slept well. The guest house is very clean. Although we had to share the bathroom, it was immaculately clean. The room was tastefully decorated and spacious. The beverage making facility in the bedroom was good (with ample sachets of coffee/tea and sugar). The owner was welcoming and very pleasant. Breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend this guest house.

I stayed here for 1 night and it was excellent! Fiona who was very friendly and welcoming on arrival. The room was lovely and really nicely decorated. The bathroom was stunning too and looked really new! The breakfast in the morning was fantastic and nicely presented. I loved the little the butter dishes. The lady who serve my breakfast (sorry i ve forgot your name) was nice and very pleasant. All in all excellent B & B / Guest House and will definitely recommend to family and friends!

We travelled up North for a photographic mini-break to visit Arisaig, Eilean Donan and Skye. We found Seaview Guest House by chance really and think we were so lucky as there was only one room available as it was just at the start of the season. Fiona was absolutely charming and the guest house was warm and welcoming and its staff were just so friendly and chatty. Our room was just lovely with lots of thoughtful little touches to make guests feel more comfortable, the Tunnock's teacakes were most appreciated with our tea and coffee in our room and our cooked breakfast was delicious too. Mallaig was a great base for visiting lots of other places and we were very lucky with the weather in March as it was bright and dry until our last day. Fiona also showed us round the self-catering rental cottage next door which was just gorgeous too and we will look forward to visiting again in the near future.

Room Tip: Twin room and Bedroom 2 have to share a bathroom. I think all the others are ensuite. It didn't...
