We eat here one evening, and dropped in for a drink a couple of times. It's not cheap, but not frighteningly expensive for the area. Food, wine and beer all great, service very good, and it was somewhere a bit posher for a special occaision.

I was staying here and ate in the first night. The langoustines were fantastic but I'm not sure if that it's more a tribute the quality of the seafood in these waters - they were grilled to perfection anyway. The sea bass was OK it came with red cabbage - more red cabbage was in the vegetable selection which, on the whole was nicely cooked. The cheese slate was an expensive disappointment - a narrow range and some seemed too long out in the air, I could have done without more red cabbage at this point too,

Other diners say the mussels are superb.

It was £45 just for my meal with one large glass of wine - quite pricey with only the langoustines remaining in the memory. Oh, and the view of course ... perhaps one is really paying for that.

The west of Scotland had a glorious Easter weekend - sunshine and clear skies. We were staying at the Hotel and decided to try the restaurant. At first, this was mainly for the view over the water - a magnificent sunset. But the food was an unexpected and glorious triumph. Fresh, full of flavour and interesting combinations that worked so well. Very pleasant service and very content customers. We'll be back!

Reasonable hotel, but way overpriced, cheapest main meal £12.98, starters £7, the hotel is nice but ripping tourists off in my view, the town has nicer eating and far cheaper drinks.
Staff are very nice, no issues with food other than price

What a venue, overlooking the Small Isles and Skye Watch the sunset melt over Skye, hues of purple and red onto the glazed white snow of the Cuillins and all for the price of a beer.

The hotel is the best in the area and there are regular music nights and ceilidhs.

Enjoy.
