My £7.75 ham salad with extra £2.50 "bowl" of chips which were actually just served on the plate was a joke, i have had a better side garnish at the side of a main meal than this and when i complained the owner was dismissive, will not be returning.

Called in by chance as we were in the area, quickly realised we found a lovely spot to eat good hearty food, weather was good so we sat outside and the view across the Loch is wonderfull.
We decided to stay another week and we were able to stay in the appartment above the cafe, very spacious and very well appointed, had a wonderfull extension to our holiday. Highly recomend this place as the locals are so friendly too.

Stopped here on a whim after staying in applecross overnight and so glad we did! After being super tempted by the cakes (we refrained-it wasn't even 10am) we both had full breakfasts and oh my goodness, they were the best!! As a bit of a full breakfast connoisseur, I have very high expectations but this food was fresh, generous and super tasty. Lovely service too, think it was the owner and she was very welcoming and friendly. This place is probably worth the 10 hour round trip alone! Ps. the challenge breakfast is not for the faint hearted and should come with a free tshirt on completion.

We had the best BLT baguettes I've ever had here last week, service was pretty good and at a fair price. Cakes afterwards were a bit stale but still edible. Definately worth popping in if you're passing.

There isn't anything outstanding about this cafe but it is a friendly little place with lots of cakes on display. We had coffee and vanilla slices - the latter slightly smaller than I am used to but the price was reasonable. The cafe overlooks Loch Carron and there is parking outside on the road and across the other side in parking places. Ideal place to stop off if you are passing through and need a break,
