I could happily have moved in for good; one of the stars of our trip.

Stayed: August 2011, traveled as a couple

Very nice b&b with clean and nicely furnished rooms. Great view. Very friendly and the best scrambled eggs we had on our trip! Highly recommended. Would book two nights instead of one next time, to really enjoy the room!

There is no TV in the room, but you don't need it with such a view. There's a nice lounge next to the room with TV and magazines. So everything you need for a stay.

We stayed at the Sithean for just one night. The building is a new-build house on the edge of Lochcarron. We were offered a welcoming pot of tea and cake on arrival which was taken in a residents lounge overlooking the loch below. The room was spotlessly clean - as was the entire house, and tastefully decorated. The location was very quiet, being down a long cul-de-sac, and set back from the road. We ate at the Lochcarron Bistro in the evening, which we would thoroughly recommend. It is advisable to book - even on a damp Monday night the place was pretty well-filled. Breakfast at the Sithean was also excellent, a very good choice was offered, and guests share a large table - a good way to encourage some interaction - there are actually only 2 double rooms available, so it would never feel crowded. Recommend a trip to nearby Applecross, over the hair-raising Bealach na Ba, for great views, also Plockton, a lovely village offering a few good eating places and wildlife-spotting boat trips. All in all we would recommend this B&B.

We stayed one night in May with Kenny and Lorna and were their first guests. It was fantastic value and the accommodation and views were first class. We hope to come back! Paul & Barbara Bryan

A very warm welcome awaits you with tea provided in the lounge on your arrival. It's bedrooms are immaculate with lots of facilities. The bed is very comfortable. There is a guest lounge which overlooks the loch and mountains beyond - a beautiful view. The breakfast is lovely and well cooked.
If the weather is not so good as it was with us the owner was more than happy to help us dry our outdoor clothing. They are very kind.
There is plenty to see and do in the vicinity and the local hotel serves very good food.
I would definitely like to go again.
