A fabulous 5 day break! The accommodation is stunning, everything has been thought of. We were left a wonderful welcome pack. The hot tub (checked daily) was great especially on the night when the sky was clear enough to see the sunset!
The owners were on hand when we had a query and quickly sorted it for us. Would definitely return and would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the area. Thank you Margaret and Robert.
A truly outstanding premises, incredibly helpful, accommodating hosts and a beautiful area.
A very rural position, but close to main road network makes it a perfect base to go and explore!
We had a fantastic holiday and would love to return!
Thank you :)
What a find and a gem.. ticked away in Annan. Arrived to a lovely welcome basket and with it prosecco. The Stables is converted to high standard with lovely decor. Beds comfortable and everything and more thought of in kitchen. Owners lovely and friendly to met with easy booking
A beautiful peaceful break. The Stables cottage is stunning with lots of quality features.
Large open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen. Spacious bedrooms with large beds. Bathrobes and plenty of towels.
Hot tub lovely.
Can't wait to book for a return visit
Excellent cottage with great facilities. Very relaxing and peaceful location. Would recommend to friends & family.
Stayed for a 4 night break at Easter and was thoroughly impressed.
Have stayed in plenty of self catering places over the years and this is as good as anywhere else we've ever stayed.
As others have said the photos don't do it justice, spotlessly clean, loads of room and everything you would want for a short break. Including a lovely welcome hamper which included both chocolate and prosecco!
The cottage itself is very spacious with a well equipped kitchen and separate utility room at one end of the main room and large dining table in the centre and leather suite at the other end.
Bedrooms, one en suite, and bathroom were also good with large walk in shower and a bath in the main bathroom and walk in shower in the en suite.
Hot tub is large and plenty of towels and robes were available.
The cafe at Annandale Distillery is just a few yards away and is well worth a visit.
Just spending 3 nights in The Stables. It looks nice on the website but the pics don't do the actual place any justice at all.
It's deceptive from the outside and tardis like on the inside.
The whole fit out is top quality and has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break.
The kitchen is well equipped and the 'welcome' pack is full of goodies , with the fresh orange juice, spritzer and prosecco in the fridge the icing on the cake.
To be honest we cooked every meal , breakfast , lunch and tea on the massive bbq and ate 'al fresco'.
Margaret and Robert were very pleasant but not intrusive.
The lounge area is spacious and comfortable and the patio doors allowed a lovely breeze .
The bathrooms well equipped and luxurious as are the bedrooms.
This has been the nicest cottage with hot tub we've stayed in and can't wait to come back .
Note the tearoom 30 seconds walk away is ideal for eating in or take away if you want to sit in your own we haven.
