we have dinned many many times in the thatch...the food is always glorious and the staff are very friendly......we find if you are in a rush..you can phone your order in....which cuts the waiting time down.....although they dont advertise this...all in all an excellent eatery....bring back the mixed grill!
ohh and lastly.........no worries about parking..........huge carpark

The Thatch is a lovely friendly pub that serves excellant food at a reasonable price. The owner and staff are always helpful. i frequent it often, during the day and in the evening.
Well worth a visit

Ate here recently with three friends on a Friday night. Lounge was unusually quiet for a Friday night which was nice. We were seated right away by a very pleasant waitress, who also provided us with the menus and took our drinks order. Drinks were served promptly and we were given a few extra minutes to make our selections.

When ordered, our starters were served swiftly. The waitress also checked with us to make sure everything was ok. Table was cleared quickly and our mains followed shortly afterwards. Due to the large starters we soon discovered that we were quickly full, although I did make a good atempt at finishing my chicken stirfry, disappointed that I could not manage it! We didn't bother with dessert as there simply was no room left.

Overall the food was great, service was excellent and our bill was very reasonable. I would certainly go back again for dinner!

Was noone to great us on our arrival so we grabed a table and sat down. Many weaitresses noticed us and walked by but noone bothered to come and give us menues! Whwn I approached the manager for menues and explained how long we had been waiten she never even appoligised! Food was plain! Waitresses didnt seem to know what they were doing! When paying for the bill there was food and drink added which had not been receiced or ordered!! Still no appoligy from the staff!! Drinkers from the bar were also taking up room in the resturant which was very loud and off putting whilst eating! Will not be back!!!
