A nice walk with the family, your dog or simply to be close to nature. Lots of interesting facts along the way, a cafe if you fancy a warm drink, a refreshing cold one, ice-cream, cake etc.

We have been visiting Ryton Pools for over twenty years. Today returning for the first time in a year or so we liked it even more. There is a brand new playground next to the pool which is so well thought out and with a wide range of climbing frames. My girls aged 8 and 5 loved it and we will certainly return again soon. The cafe is great too and everyone had sausage or egg sandwiches! Very quick and polite service even though staff were only young and only 2 of them. Even with a huge queue they whizzed through it. Toilets accessible and clean. A second playground is also by the cafe with lots of picnic benches too. Add to that a huge range of walks all signposted. Perfect place to go and only £2.50 to park all day!

We didn't realise that there was a new playground that has recently opened which was a fantastic surprise. Turned up to do a leisurely cycle around the pool - it's a good level circuit for learners. The playground was a bonus and the only problem was trying to drag the kids away! It's also a good place to see the bluebells at the right time of year.

We were looking for somewhere to take our Husky for a walk and decided to try here. It was a good walk, although he decided to jump off a hill onto the track and scraped his head along the gravel....just like a little child!
Overall, for the money to get in, it is worth it if you're going to spend a while there

The adjacent Warwickshire Wildlife Trust managed Ryton wood used to be a lovely walk, but they have been shooting the muntjac deer in the past couple of months and felling several of the oak trees. Doesn't seem right in a nature reserve. Apparently they are selling the muntjac as venison. Real shame, as we visit to see the wildlife.
