Ryton Pools has a great new playground for all ages. The den building is a great hit with our three kids. At the moment it is pretty muddy some go prepared. At the weekends there is sometimes a little train that again adds to the attraction. Costs £2.50 to park, and you need correct change.

Thank you for your comments, glad you have discovered us! In relation to the poor cafe, we are building a new cafe and toilet block this year, and will be going out to tender for a new cafe operator. We hope that the new facility will be a massive improvement and provide an excellent new service for our visitors. In the interim we will be operating mobile catering, and portaloos once the building has been removed. We will be keeping visitors informed of the works as this project progresses on site.

Visited for the first time today and found to be very nice. Not too busy and the path ways are excellent and made pushing our pram around very easy. Great play areas for our three year old and all well maintained. I good alternative to the busier Kingsbury water park albeit smaller.

We have visited many, many times over the last 30 years. Access used to be free but now they charge. The water in the various pools looks a bit manky these days. it could do with a bit of a facelift but it's very nice for an hour or two in the fresh air.

We take our daughter there for a walk, which is fine, but there are plenty of other places around that do not have to be paid for. Very poor cafe.
