Stable suite booked (upgraded from our usual Hayloft). Room was ggorgeous (with 2 gs) owners remembered us and we had a nice chat. So glad it has gained an award since our last visit, and Iit is constantly improving, but we don't want it too busy, or prices to go up, so we can go back. We know Steve and Lou will read this, so THANK YOU!

Completely loved this amazing place. Wonderful to stay next to a real working water mill and wished we had booked longer than the one night. Steve and Louise were very welcoming and helpful about a recommendation of where to eat out (a good pub in walking distance along the road as the one directly opposite, The Burcott Inn, was closed that evening). Our son loved helping to feed the chickens before breakfast and was delighted to find an egg. Excellent breakfast with local produce including their own bread from the flour they mill here, in a lovely breakfast room. Had time to explore the mill afterwards and bought some of their spelt flour. The family room was great and although our bathroom was downstairs, it was only for our use and was beautiful (as was the bedroom). We then went and explored Wells - again wishing we had more time there as it's gorgeous. So definitely somewhere we plan to come back to and to stay in this lovely B&B.

This was our second visit to Burcott Mill and we loved it just as much as our first. We stayed in the Old Mill Office which is perfect for families with young children as it has two cosy bunks in a curtained off area. The owners are increadibly welcoming, they perfectly understand the needs of families and the breakfasts are amazing! A lovely, well run B&B that I would recommend to anyone without hesitation.

We stayed at Burcott Mill in early August. The room was large with a comfy bed, a coffee table, sofa, and bunk beds. There was also a garden and seating area in the courtyard, ample parking and a great local pub just across the road. It was very good for children as there are small animals, the mill, and plenty of space to play. The breakfast was good but we felt that our room was in some need of a little attention regarding the paintwork. It was a welcome stop over when travelling to the South coast and we would recommend it for a relaxing break.

We stayed at Burcott Mill for 3 nights leading up to August Bank Holiday.
Our party consisted of 4 adults and 3 children. The rooms we stayed in were clean and spacious. The owners Louise and Steve made us feel welcome and were onhand to offer advice on local attractions.
Breakfast as very good with local produce, our favourite item was the bread which was homemade using flour from the mill.
Highly recommended, we loved the area and will return. Great pub across the road(The Burcott Inn) good food and local beer.

I stayed here with my husband & 2 children under 9 in May when we were house hunting in the area. We had the family room which can be self catering and is lovely and spacious. The king size bed and fluffy pillows were a luxury you rarely find in hotels never mind b&bs! The mezzanine level was great for the kids and it was lovely to have a separate tv area for the evenings.
The breakfast was yummy and the kids loved the guinea pigs and chickens! Thanks for taking the time to show us the mill working, it was very interesting.
The only negative with this building for me is the traffic noise of cars which seemed to roar down the lane, which occasionally disturbed my sleep, but that's probably because I'm used to living on a very quiet road... my husband snored quite happily!

We really enjoyed our stay at Burcott Mill Guesthouse. This is one of the best B&B's we have stayed at and is ideal for families with young children. The room we stayed in was clean, light and airy with plenty of room for all four of us. Breakfast was excellent with lovely local produce and homemade bread. Our boys fell in love with the guinea pigs and had plenty of room to play and stretch their legs in the grounds. There is plenty of off road parking and the mill was so easy to find.

Louise and Steve were very hospitable and friendly but also very professional.

We would certainly stay here again as it is a very convenient stop off point for trips to Cornwall and Devon. I think our holiday started a day earlier this year - as soon as we pulled into the mill we felt relaxed !
