Took the kids about 5/6 years ago. It was fab! lots to see and the tour guide was very informative. There is also lots to do on the outside(not just caves) from memory there was a maze and a good museum

The last time I came to the caves I was a child and now back again in adulthood, we were a little dissapointed with the tour as it didnt last very long and you were not able to roam on your own, the tour could do with being a little longer, but it was still nice to come back and see it again

I really enjoyed Wookey hole caves, I enjoyed the cave tour, then fooling around looking at the dinosaurs, the museums and different artifacts laying around the place. Lots to do for the kids, I did feel that the canteen could do with some work, especially since the food is quite expensive, plastic knifes and forks in a polystyrene tray. Not really acceptable when I payed £14 for 2 drinks and some food. But on the other hand the food was tasty, I had pie and chips, it was lovely, just a shame about the rest of the dining experience. Really liked Wookey Hole though, and the Stay at the Wookey Hole Hotel was spot on.

Took 4 children and 4 adults to Wookey Hole on 29Dec12 through Groupon, overall it was a fantastic day out.
The caves were amazing, though I would recommend a waterproof jacket and flat shoes to explore.
The 'Fairy Land' and Dinosaur park was enchanting, with perfect photo opportunities of a Caveman family.
Queen Victoria's penny farthing arcade was amusing, watching the children being enchanted by bygone entertainment.
As for the circus performance it was fantastic; you could tell the children who went to 'Circus school' twice a week in the evening; were thoroughly enjoying themselves. Having watched a few acrobatic companies over the years, these were on par - brilliant.
As for the Wookey Witch and Wizard - very well acted all 4 children (9,8,7,6) were fully enthralled.
The British weather didn't disappoint allowing plenty of puddles to splash in, in between the caves, mirrors, theatre, circus museum and carpark :)
It was very quiet when we went and must admit not sure if we would have had such a brilliant day out, had we had to move with throngs of people as I can imagine it becomes unbearably busy at peak times.
