“Fantastic family weekend”
Reviewed February 20, 2012

We stayed in the Wookey Hole hotel for 2 nights. The staff are lovely, welcoming and very helpful. The rooms are great very clean and fresh. We fitted 2 adults 2 children and a baby (in a cot) in very comfortably.
The kids loved having breakfast in the restaurant each morning with the Wookey Hole witch, who spent time talking to all the children. We then had a fantastic day starting with a tour of the caves and grounds with loads for the children to see and do. The show put on by the Gerry Cottle circus was fantastic and topped off our stay perfectly. Would recommend Wookey Hole to anyone. The kids are already asking when we can go back again. And as it was all so affordable we will be returning before to long. :)

“A Bit for every one”
Reviewed February 20, 2012

What a splended day. Right the caves wasnt that intresting for my Six year old daughter but the circus, mirror maze and kidz play area were which justified time in the caves, all of which included in the entrence fee, which I must Say are well explained by a knowledgeable guide. Awesome day for a great price. Thank you

“Small size attraction but enough for young boys”
Reviewed February 20, 2012

We went as two families with four boys from ages 3-8. The caves are beautiful and have a tour guide, which admittedly the children weren't that taken with, but the adults enjoyed. After the caves there is a short dinosaur walk and picnic benches where we ate (took our lunch to keep costs down). Then there are a few museum type bits from old circus and penny slots. Hall of mirrors is fun. There is an indoor play bit where the boys disappeared for an hour even though its not very big, so we could grab a coffee, then there is another big ball play pen further on which kept them amused for another hour, shooting balls at each other. We saw the circus which was an hours entertainment, and was much better than last year.
It can be pricey, but we had half price tickets from groupon. Their own website also has click and print offers sometimes. If your not expecting a huge all signing all dancing attraction, its a great day out for younger children.
