My parents, my girlfriend and me arrived this afternoon to holiday in Ingleton.
We popped up to Booth’s Supermarket (our favourite) in the village up the road for a pint of milk and some chewing gum, and ended up spending £150.
We got £1:20 back for our parking ticket.
Then to our cottage in Ingleton and we took the easy way out- a takeaway!
This is not the fastest service you’ll get in a fish and chip shop, but there is a very good reason- they don’t cook your fish until you order.
A plan that ensures you get a beautiful, fresh piece of fish with the somewhat excellent chips.
My fish was roughly the size of a small country, and tasted delicious- we all felt the same; fantastic fayre!
These were the best fish and chips I’ve had in some time- it’s just possible we might take the easy option again later in the week!
