“Home away from home - perfect”
Reviewed January 15, 2016 for a stay in December 2015

This was our second stay at Riverview Cottage at Christmas time for the main purpose of spending Christmas with family however after our first stay 2 years ago, staying at this cottage became a priority. Now that it has Wi-Fi it is perfect. The kids love the downstairs game room, the cottage is tastefully furnished with everything you could want for an extended family stay and the lovely little touches like Christmas decorations make it feel like a real home away from home. Bathrooms are modern. The underfloor heating is superb. Great views of the river, great location with an easy walk into the village or to do the Waterfalls Trail which is a must. We will definitely be back again.

“WOW !!”
Reviewed January 3, 2016 for a stay in December 2015

We have just returned from a week's stay in this fabulous cottage, It suited our family group perfectly (4 adults and 3 children) It was spacious and extremly well fitted and the lower ground floor games room was a real gem, we hardly saw the children, they set up their x-box on the monitor and that was it! The 'big children' loved the games of pool and ping pong. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for us but my husband said the bed was 'too comfy'. Ingleton itsself is a very charatcerful village with several nice pubs (went to quiz night in the Three horse shoes, New Years eve at the Wheatsheaf and ate at the Craven Heifer), The village has a number of lovely independant shops and a very handy co-op that stocked everything you needed and was open til late, We did the 'waterfall walk' which is on the doorstep and had lovely days out in Kirby Lonsdale, Skipton,Settle and Malham, One of our best winter holidays ever! Best cottage we have stayed in and will definately be back (we have already tried to book for next New Year and gutted to find it already booked, Thank you Hayley and Jeremy for your kind hospitality and the bottle of prosseco, it went down a treat on New Years eve,

“Fabulous Cottage In A Wonderful Village!”
Reviewed September 8, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

First impressions are very important and the Riverview Cottage certainly had the WOW factor! The cottage is wonderful - with everything you need to enjoy your holiday already waiting for you! All the rooms were very clean, decorated and furnished to a high standard. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us (2 adults, 2 children) and we loved the incredible games room! We also REALLY appreciated all the useful consumables, for example 2 in 1 Shampoo, plenty of Toilet Rolls, Dishwasher Tablets, Hand Soap, Bubble Bath, Washing Up Liquid and Cloths all provided! Having two Bathrooms, both with good showers was again really useful for getting ready in the mornings! If we had a personal preference, it would be for firmer beds but other than that the cottage is wonderful and we would definitely rent it again if we were to visit Yorkshire!

The Village of Ingleton is lovely, the highlights for us were: The picturesque Ingleton Falls, outdoor heated swimming pool, children's park, local shops and a fantastic Fish and Chip shop! All within easy walking distance!

Thank you from one Thompson family to another Thompson family for making our holiday in Yorkshire one we will treasure!

“Excellent facilities for all our extended family in a luxury house Ingleton”
Reviewed August 15, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

On your arrival every area is spotless and very homely. The house is very well finished with exposed brick, wood bannisters and skirting, together with hotel spec bathrooms and each of the bedrooms have very comfortable beds, television and music surround sound. In the kitchen the cupboards are well stocked with all you need and the beautiful portmerion crockery ads a lovely touch. Usefully you are only are short walk up a steep hill to the village, where there are plenty of independent shops and a Co-op for essentials. We loved sitting outside, and on occasion chatted to the owners who live next door. Very friendly and helpful.
This is a jewel in the crown for accommodation, and only minutes from the waterfalls walk.

“Just lovely”
Reviewed July 29, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

This cottage is just perfect and we will all be sorry to leave. The situation is ideal with the play area and swimming pool just around the corner and shops and eateries a little further up the hill. The games room was an added bonus on a week of torrential downpours with pool, darts and table tennis to keep the family entertained. A real home from home with everything you need.

“I would highly recommend staying in this really lovely accomodation”
Reviewed April 23, 2015 for a stay in August 2013

Everything about our stay was perfect. The owner was accomodating and helpful and the house beautifully presented with some lovely special touches. We were a mixed age group and found the spacious varied rooms allowed everyone to relax in comfort.
The house was well equipped and everything was perfectly clean.
We would definately book again.

“Cozy and very very comfy”
Reviewed April 4, 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Wonderful holiday house cannot recommend enough, we have three younger children who although are a it young for the seriously fantastic games room learnt how to play darts, pool and ping pong and were in there every day at some point, the whirlpool in the bath was the most used, the kids thought that was awesome. Lovey toasty welcome by the wood burning stove with the week of rain, sleet and high winds it was needed and welcomed as was the whole house we instantly felt very comfy the position of the house is great moments walk to waterfall walk (which were in fantastic dramatic flow due to the rain) seriously good butchers and gorgeous cake shop. We visited ingleborough caves which was a good day out as the walk from the next village is really lovely. Loads of little or long walks around the area investigate this as there are some hidden gems. Would love come in warmer weather as the open air swimming pool opposite the cottage looks really really lovely. A big thank you to the owners which were very friendly and for making there cottage a place we would love to return to.
