Thank you for the very good review, it was lovely to see you both again and what a wonderful weekend for the 1940's re-enactment, so pleased the weather was good enough for the Spitfire fly past. As you booked again before leaving this year, look forward to seeing you in 2013.

I stayed at Inglenook for the briefest of stays recently and I was really impressed.

The hosts were very friendly and attentive, the accommodation is well maintained and decorated, and the breakfast was first-class. Inglenook is conveniently located with ample on-street (free) parking and is in a quite location with lovely views.

I'd have no hesitation in recommending it or returning next time I'm looking for accommodation in the area.

This b&b is in the best place possible the village is 5-10 mins up the road the falls walk starts just round the corner, the hospitality at the b&b is second to none as is the breakfast, the room we stayed in was clean fresh and warm the bed was comfy, we came back from a walk to find fresh baked Yorkshire tea cake in our room, which we thought was a really nice surprise, we will return.

Room Tip: Walfdale room has a view over the garden and stream

Thank you for your lovely comments, we are in a great location for walking or driving in the beautiful Dales. The home-made biscuits are very popular, there is a batch in the oven now !!

we stayed in the Wharedale room, which was not liked by another reviewer. The room was perfectly adequate for our two night stay, and there is a large guest lounge with free tea and coffee always available, as well tea and coffee in the room. There is also a large screen TV in the lounge as well a smaller TV in the room. The room has superb views over a tumbling river and the dales, and most importantly for us, was quiet.
One afternoon we came in soaking wet after a walk in torrential rain and were met by the landlady who took our wet clothes and dried them. Who could ask for anything more?
We would thoroughly recomend this b&b to anyone.

Many thanks for your kind comments. We really do have wonderful views of the Dales countryside from all our rooms. Sorry you got so wet but at least we could dry you out, we hope it won't put you off visiting the area again.
