“Perfect”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2012

We stayed in the Willow Cottage for a break away to complete the 3 peaks.

It really is perfect, rooms, location, facilities are just what you need. My only regret - not staying longer.

One bit of advise, after doing the 3 peaks on a Saturday, we came back to the cottage to shower and recover a little, before we headed out for fish and chips in Ingleton and were devastated the chip shuts at 8pm - chippy tea got everyone through the last few miles so we were gutted as we missed it by 15 minutes.

I would highly recommend the cottages for the 3 peaks or a break away.

Just returned from Beechtree Cottages after a brilliant long weekend break! The modern accommodation is fantastic - spotlessly clean, excellent location within walking distance to Ingleton Village, all necessary amenities to make it 'home from home', superb personal touches like access to the 'office', offering a wide choice of DVD's, books, children's toys and places of interest leaflets and tea & biscuits on arrival, after a long journey! The accommodation provides an excellent base to explore the surrounding area and Peaks, allowing you to relax in comfort in the evening. I had no problem with road noise and we slept with windows open during the night, as we were lucky enough to have lovely warm weather over the weekend. I would definitely recommend Beechtree Cottages and will be returning when my Partner tackles the 3 Peaks Chalenge next year! See you again soon Beechtree :-)

We stayed in Holly Cottage, which has a double and a twin room. It was the wettest weekend of the year but we still had a lovely time, hadn't really expected to be huddled in front of the stove but it was nice to have the option. The cottages are modern, no fussy touches, just simple rustic styling. There is a downstairs cloakroom housing the boiler which is ideal for drying muddy boots and coats, or on a longer stay, drying laundry. The kitchen was well equipped and fresh, milk, tea and coffee were provided on arrival. I don't understand some of the other complaints, road noise was not a problem and the owners simply ask that you leave the place clean as opposed to filthy, I think most holiday lets would expect that of their tenants. The owners seem to have gone to a lot of trouble to provide DVDs, games etc and were very friendly and approachable. Would stay again.

We visited Ingleton Falls Walk and also Ingleborough Cavern in Clapham. This is a lovely wall from a lovely village, through a nature reserve to the cavern entrance. Caves well worth a visit and then you can continue your walk to Gaping Ghyll to see the river disappearing down a massive hole into the caves, quite a spectacle.

We have just returned from our stay at the Beechtree cottages and were very impressed. We were a party of 7 adults and 1 child and stayed in Willow cottage. There was more than enough room for all of us without feeling like we were all on top of each other.

The cottages are ideally based for the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge which was the main reason for our visit. There was plenty to do around the area for those who weren't walking.

The cottages were very clean and tidy and had all the amenities you would expect. They felt warm and cosy, which was definitely needed even in June!

The DVD's and books were a nice touch and the management were extremely friendly and helpful even when we had to disturb them late at night with a forgotten walking boots dilemma!!

Yes, they are on a main road but we didn't really hear the traffic that much and to be honest it was only really during the day when most of the time we were out anyway.

I can't rate them highly enough and if we were ever to visit the area again I would definitely be booking to stay here.

Thank you for a lovely stay.

We stayed Friday to Monday. Perfect as a base for the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge. Also great to combine a relaxing weekend and sightseeing. The cottage was immaculate and facilities were excellent. Owners are lovely and make you feel very welcome.
We will definitely be returning and would recommend Beechtree Cottages to our friends and family.

The best cottage we have ever stayed at. We all had a fantastic week. Plenty to do and good pubs to visit. We will be back soon. Thank you.
