Location is a little off and building is next to a street so if you want some quiet order a room facing the garden. The Inn is somewhat worn down and the service and attitude from the staff was poor. Food though was excellent and higlt recommendable.

Hi
Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review.

I'm sorry you felt you didn't experience the level of service many other do on a daily basis. I'm worried that some staff may not be giving the servie that is set and if y ou would care to email me at info@thewheatsheaf-ingleton.co.uk so i can discuss further with you then this would be appreciated. I hope this hasn't put you off visiting us in the future.
THanks

Just a short drive from the start of the 3 Yorkshire Peaks walk. Cosy and comfy room, great food in the pub downstairs. Really friendly staff. We went on an early morning walk so they left breakfast out for us especially. Would definately recommend

booked in last week from monday until friday. Room newly painted, clean, warm and comfratable, tv, coffee and tea making facilities, comfy clean bed, what more can i say.Food in the bar very good, dont be put off by the menu board which suggests that all they do is burgers, ask for a menu, also, take note that if you dine from 5.30pm until 6.30pm, you get a 50% discount.I think you would be hard pressed to find anywhere better for the money.

Room Tip: ask for a updated room..

Four of us stopped over for a meal a few weeks ago on Friday lunchtime. Good selection of ales were available, I had a couple of pints which were pretty good. The food was pretty good and reasonably priced. The staff were all friendly, we were served promptly and didn’t have to wait to long for the food to arrive.

Like other have mentioned, the place could probably do with a bit of tidying up, but on the whole it’s a decent pub.
