We did a lovely walk from Leyburn to Wensley and what a treat half way around."The Yorkshire Tea Party" Very very friendly and welcoming lady served us (KIM). What a lovely lady serving us Yorkshire Tea in bone china tea cups, large pot of tea, milk, sugar and biscuits.
Best pot of tea we have had for a long time!!!! She also serves home made cakes. Such a lovely spot to sit, a little oasis. We will be back next time we are in the Yorkshire Dales. Thank-you Kim

Enjoyed a lovely loop walk from Leyburn to Wenlsey taking in Bolton Hall and the Shawl. But what a treat half way round, the beautiful, quirky tea room - The Yorkshire Tea Party. Very friendy welcome, refreshing tea in the most quaint bone china cups, even the sugar bowl had tongs! To be able to sit outside with a friend, tea in hand and enjoy the view is my idea of bliss! Make sure you do the walk as it's lovey but also make time for tea too.

Read about the "Tea Party" here before going hiking in Yorkshire and it lived up to its reputation! But never expected the welcome to be soooo warm with the bonus of enjoying the twins Nellie and Charlie playing in the yard while we enjoyed our tea. Kim and Hollie the mother and daughter hosts are so friendly and took the time to chat and share their love of the surroundings with us. We were lucky to have nice weather and sat outside to have our snack but they have some amazingly comfy spots to sit on a cold or wet day. This little oasis is beautifully presented and I'm certain will be enjoyed by all who venture there! This Canadian thanks the "Yorkshire Tea Party" for making a lovely walk lovelier!

After trekking through the footpaths and fields it was such a treat to
find the Yorkshire Tea Party!
My friend and I sat and relaxed at the comfy table and chairs
We enjoyed a cup of hot tea and fresh baked scones
The hosts were very friendly and we chatted for quite some time in the sunshine
I would highly recommend visiting this establishment...you will be glad you did!
