“One of the best breakfasts I have ever had”
Reviewed April 12, 2014

Breakfast with very local produce - it was surprisingly delicious, I didn't think breakfast tasted that good!!! I checked out the lunch menu and will definitely try it sometime when we are next in the dales. Also bought some steaks and cheese from the shop for next weekend. A great place so don't pass it by!!

“What a Gem”
Reviewed April 7, 2014 via mobile

Whilst crossing from Scarborough to The Lakes, it was our intention to stop off in Hawes for some lunch. Just before Hawes we spotted a sign for Berrys Farm Shop and Cafe, and thought we'd stop here instead. What a good move... The food and the service received were excellent, and couldn't be faulted at all. The facilities, including the toilets were spotlessly clean, a real credit to the establishment. The farm shop had a wide range of locally produced goods, including freshly made pork pies... one of which I purchased, eating later and savouring every single delicious mouthful. Do yourself a favour when next passing through... stop off here for a meal, and make sure you buy a pork pie to take home with you. I'm sure you also won't be disappointed.

“Oasis in The Dales”
Reviewed April 6, 2014 via mobile

We have passed Berrys dozens of times in the past, always threatening to call in, but never doing so. However this morning my wife and I called in for coffee. What a lovely place. Great quirky surroundings , excellent friendly staff. The coffee and cake was excellent. We bought a couple of sirloin steaks for tonight's dinner.... Well aged and looking tasty. The farm shop is full of great local produce. We shall be calling back soon, perhaps for breakfast or lunch. Before leaving we had a look at the cute lambs, and kids in the stables.
I would certainly recommend Berrys..

“We left”
Reviewed April 2, 2014

Our cottage rental had leaflets for this place, so, hungry, we headed for Berry's.
It said they served food till 4pm.
We we sitting down by 3:45pm. They weren't terrifically busy but it took the staff 5minutes to visit our table. I started to order ... sorry she said, we've stopped serving food.
It was t0 to 4.
Sorry to be an inconvenience, we left.

“Lovely place ”
Reviewed March 31, 2014 via mobile

Stopped off here for a quick snack in the afternoon whilst in the area after a hard days walking. Had a lovely Wensleydale cheese sandwich that was presented with salad, homemade coleslaw, onion chutney and a few crisps. Staff where very welcoming and the place was very clean. Lovely farm shop on site and an area outside for the kids to play in. Even though we where only stopping for a quick bite they do have an extensive menu so well worth a visit in the day.
