otherwise the whole thing would have been a bit of a bore, we expected more for the £7 nterance fee ! and we travelled to it, because we had been to a steam rally last year and that was great !

A wonderful house and grounds.
There is a craft fair Easter, August and in November and that is the only time the house is open. There is a £3.50 entrance fee but it is well worth it, There is some wonderful Jewellery by Trudy at the fair.

Really great estate where you can walk for hours and not come across anyone. Beautiful scenery and wonderful house. Definitely worth a visit....

Great old house, grounds seemed a little tired and uncared for and the walk down to the river through the woods is very steep, not to bad going down but the walk back up is hard! be warned. entrance is free however and there is a nice little park for younger kids to play on just by the car park.

Thank Tim N
