Overall very good, could do with an iron and board, and maybe some new carpet, everything else was very clean and tidy, information folder was very helpful too, would certainly revisit.
Just returned from a stay at Sandbanks in Teignmouth with my sister and our two young children. We had a lovely holiday, plenty of room for playing and sleeping and the beanbags, toys and books for the children (some of which looked brand new!) were a real bonus! It felt like a home away from home, great roomy kitchen and living / dining room, plenty of storage in the bedrooms etc and 2.5 bathrooms came in handy! Location is great, although be prepared for up-hill walks back from town! Joanne was very helpful before we went and the house is well-equipped. Parking can be tricky but I managed to wedge a large car in the carport in-between neighbours vehicles parked either side on the street!
If I'm in need of a place to stay in Teignmough again I will be staying at Sandbanks, thanks Joanne!
Had a lovely time at Sandbanks, it is so well positioned near the town and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. My sister adored the bathroom on the top floor. I loved the garden, it's a little sun trap. Would love to stay again. Only thing I would say, parking is only for a small car, but that's not the owners fault.
Just returned from our week visiting Sandbanks. The house is great, everything was left ready for us, very welcoming. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped although we didn't really eat in as Teignmouth has so many places to eat, you'll be spoilt for choice. The Co op is a few minutes walk and is open long hours, in fact everything is between 4 and 10 mins walk. My husband did some fishing. The local pubs are friendly. Kids liked the Dino themed golf. Shaldon is a must, to visit by ferry. Would defineltly visit again!!
A great holiday home - very well equipped and furnished with lots of extras. The owners have worked hard to make this a great place for a stay in this lovely south Devon town. The beaches and town centre being no more than 5-10 minutes walk. Waitrose is literally just round the corner, and within 30 minutes you are in Exeter, Torquay or Paignton.
Sandbanks was even better than I expected. It's very quiet and convenient for the beach and harbour area - about a 10 minute walk - and close to local amenities like shops, cafes and takeaways. The property is extremely well equipped, even down to torches in the bedrooms in case of power cuts! I was sorry to leave to go home! We had a lovely holiday and would definitely book again.
