“Great home away from home”
Reviewed April 16, 2017 for a stay in March 2017

We had a fab week. Su was very welcoming (and her home made cake on arrival was a lovely touch). Everything we needed was in Gem cottage. Thanks for a lovely stay.

“Comfortable, well equipped, quiet property”
Reviewed September 1, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

About 5 mins drive/20-30 mins walk down steep hill to reach from Teignmouth centre/beach, off road parking for family saloon but not a really large vehicle, this one bed cottage adjoins the owner's home. Well-furnished, well equipped, quiet and secluded; and with almost everything I needed. The shower worked well and the kitchen was clean and modern.

“Home from home”
Reviewed January 5, 2016 for a stay in December 2015

I used Gem Cottage as a base for visiting my Daughter and her family over Christmas and new year. It was very comfortable, warm and had everything you would need for a self catering break, and the owners were very friendly and helpful.

“Bright and Beautiful”
Reviewed June 14, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Just spent a lovely week in this delightful bright and beautiful little cottage. Adjoining the owners' main house Gem Cottage offers comfortable accommodation and perfect for exploring the local area. Our 3 little dogs were made welcome too and although it's only a 1 bedroom and open plan lounge/diner/kitchen area, we felt there was plenty of room for all of us. If there is a downside, it would be the lack of secure outside space for the dogs.

“Home from home!”
Reviewed May 21, 2015 for a stay in March 2015

This really is a gem of a place. Lovely owners are very welcoming. Very cosy cottage, ideal for 2 people. Only a short walk into the town or to the beach, with bus stop virtually opposite if you fancy leaving the car behind. We're considering a return visit next year. Lovely holiday.

“Would certainly visit again”
Reviewed December 8, 2014 for a stay in November 2014

We stayed at Gem Cottage 21 - 28 November in order to visit family and friends in the area before Christams. Very convenient for getting about as we travelled from there to Exmouth, Exeter and Totnes by car. The cottage has parking for your car which in itself is a bonus in Teignmouth.
The Cottage has everything you need and is clean tidy and comfortable. The Owners are pleasant and very helpful and make really good coffee cake.
We will certainly think about dates for the Spring. Thank you to Su T and Husband for a lovely stay.

“Peaceful, well-equipped and welcoming”
Reviewed September 26, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

I stayed here in August in order to visit family who live locally. This cottage has everything you need and is comfortable, the owners are welcoming and friendly and the location is peaceful. The proximity to the centre of Teignmouth makes it ideal if you like a little walk to sharpen the appetite or wear off a couple of post-dinner calories. A thoroughly enjoyable stay!
