“Frappe and coffee heaven”
Reviewed June 24, 2013 via mobile

Always a delight to visit this beautifully designed cafe. The decor is superb and the staff extremely welcoming and friendly. Their coffee is the BEST in Teignmouth and you can't beat their selection of frappes! Lovely environment to sample their beautiful panninis and you won't be disappointed with their menu either for a nice light bite.

“Rare cortado”
Reviewed June 15, 2013

Just popped in for a quick coffee on a day-trip to Teignmouth.
What an excellent place! Excellent service and superb coffee.
They had Cuban serrano superior on today and it was so good I bought some beans to take home.
What was even better the had "cortado" on the menu - a Spanish variety of coffee. I'm tired of going into coffee shops and getting a mildly coffee flavoured milk drink - in Spain a cortado is an espresso (or solo), normally a double with a splash of hot milk. Usually served in a glass. Simples but hard to get in most shops. So bravo and thanks for the chat about your passion for good coffee. We sat outside in the brief sunshine and even had a cake too - excellent.
Thanks.

“Great choice of drinks”
Reviewed June 13, 2013

Loved the choice and that they do Chai Latte which is hard to find locally and a drink made from steamed milk, tea and cinnamon with honey. Delicious. Lovely clean and modern interior. They serve the teas in glass teapots with glass tea cups and saucers which you can purchase from them at £33 a set! You can also purchase a variety of teas from them to take home. There is outside seating too. They also serve light lunches and other delights like belgian waffles topped with fruit and a variety of sauces, yum! We paid just over £4 for two drinks so cheaper than the Costa that is coming to town but dearer than some greasy spoons. Happily in the middle which is a good place to be!
