“Lovely place!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 8, 2013

We went at the last minute as a large group and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming or accommodating. The atmosphere was really nice and The food was pretty good and quite reasonably priced.

“Very good breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 27, 2013

We went to the cafe at lunchtime great choice of food but the breakfast was fresh cooked and was very good value. The service was good, newspapers were provided for customers, children and dogs welcome. We also tried the the lunchtime menu, their speciality panninis were excellent.

“Nice place, do make the effort”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 27, 2013

Had breakfast with the family. Regular fare, done nicely in a very pleasant surrounding. My wife, who is challenging at the best of times, had her regular food cooked very differently, as she does; she is extreme about her diet and as a result falls out with most restaurants. They took it all in their stride, coming back regularly to check that they were doing it correctly and then still smiling when it went back for a little more effort.

Not many places do it with a smile, this one did. Well done.

“Best Chilli in the South West”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 21, 2013

This is a friendly local cafe restaurant that serves large honest portions of locally sourced food. Their Chilli is probably one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommended.

“Fine Fodder”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 9, 2013

A quite unique atmosphere. Love the informal furniture and décor. Instant friendly greeting on entry and plenty of advice on the food. Breakfast was simply fantastic! Plenty of it and very well cooked, wonderful to try such quality local produce. Portion size really generous so no need for lunch that day! Amazing value for money.
Will certainly use anytime I am near, even worth going out of your way!
