Excellent menu with something for everyone (none fish lovers like my wife!), the staff were warm and friendly and the food was to die for!! Highly recommend the scallops for the starter, tastiest scallops and sauces I have ever tasted.

This is a fantastic restaurant. We had previously visited 2 Fore Street in Mousehole and the Porthminster Beach Cafe in St Ives( both 5 stars). Well Kota was just as good. The asian duck was presented beautifully, and tasted fantastic. The chocolate fondant pudding well worth the 15 minute wait ( as its made as ordered).
If you are in this area, make a reservation, the meal will be well worth it!

read the reviews from here, and decided to go and see. The reviews are very right, the food was fantastic, we even had the early bird specials, a very good price to for 2 courses, and they certainly didnt cut back on the quality. The dishes were mouthwatering. The best we have eaten. Will definately be going back there soon.

The evening my partner and I had at Kota was absolutely sensational. The atmosphere was welcoming, romantic and cosy. The food was incredible. I have never tasted food like it in my life, the staff told us how the food was cooked, seasoned and let us know what wines were best to compliment each meal. There was so much attention to detail that it really did make it a night to remember.

Best Restuarant I have eaten in in a long time and certainly in Cornwall. Beats Jamies 15 by a long long shot. Excellent choice of food and wine and the service was really friendly and provided everything you could possibly need. I recommend the curry and the asian nights during the winter, Jude the chef is world class. If you're after something abit more than you regular steak and chips in a local pub (although they do do a good steak and lovely chunky chips) I can recommend this whole heartedly. I have never been disappointed there since I first discovered this place.
