We had a week in Cornwall and while we had no terrible food, there was little that was exciting.
Kota was doing good business for a Wednesday night in mid-September, which is always an encouraging sign.
The food was definitely well above average; the set menu was good value if you like the choices available, although 3 of the party ate a la carte.
The wine list is both well chosen and fairly priced, which again is appreciated.
we would return.

We came across this restaurant a few days earlier and decided to book for the last night of our holiday. The ambience is wonderful with great lighting and the staff really friendly.
We all had the three course set menu for £21. None of us were disappointed! The mussels in a Thai base style soup/sauce was delicious. Two of us had the chicken and two had the hake. The presentation was fab and the flavours simply wonderful.
For dessert we all had the white chocolate panna cotta with fresh raspberries.
This was fantastic value and would be a regular place to visit if we lived local.

This was a delightful dining experience. I was little disappointed at the portion size, as were my sister and dining companions, but the presentation and the meal itself were lovely. The price was very reasonable as we dined for under £150.00 for 4 people including 2 bottles of wine. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting this coastal town, and the locals themselves.

My wife and I had a great meal here. The service was relaxed and friendly and the food excellent and good value (for the quality). Read some reviews that slated the portion size, but we found it perfect. We chilled, spend a good while in the restaurant and had 3 courses and left quite a pair of fatties. Go, you'll love it.

The food is always good with that Asian twist that we have come to expect and enjoy. The staff are always friendly.
