I stayed for just one night only as I was traveling through the area would loved to have stayed longer such a lovely place, easy to park good beer and food free wifi lovely people the room was fine i could hear the Bar but only faintly but this just added to the attmospher of the place, a beautiful view from my room overlooking the harbour which was full of small fishing and pleasure boats all in all this place is a must.

Enjoy.

Thank you for a great Carvery lunch today. The food was really well prepared with lots of fresh veggies. Great choice. My wife and I both had the same, the traditional roast beef beautifully cooked with roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings, wonderful cauliflower in cheese sauce, carrots, peas, sliced potato's all plenty of and beautifully presented. The inn itself is a lovely atmospheric area to sit and enjoy your meal then of course watch the world go by. Unfortunately today due to the possible showers we were unable to enjoy the harbour area which would have been lovely to eat in. We had a drink outside on Saturday when the sun was shining brilliantly and we were able to enjoy the wonderful harbour views.

A wonderful Inn set in the very picturesque harbour town of Porthleven. The Proprietors are very friendly and welcoming and ensure that you have everything you need. We had a very comfortable, clean ensuite room which we found very difficult to leave this morning. Last night we dined in the Inn restaurant where I found the staff very polite and attentive. In the adjoining bar we had earlier enjoyed a couple of drinks whilst watching the Mighty Spurs thrash Man U on one of the many large screens provided for such events. It was totally satisfying. Porthleven is close to many places of interest such as St Michaels Mount and St Ives Bay. All-in-all,a wonderful experience :)

Had lunch here yesterday with my elderly mother. Managed to park right outside which was a bonus as my mum uses sticks and can't walk a long way. Had salmon fillet from the specials board and pork loin chop from the table menu. Both very nice, service was friendly and the food arrived quickly. Would go again.

Stayed two nights. The rooms are clean and modern, the extensive extension was built six years ago. There is private parking and the pub is right on the harbour wall. Being a pub they did have a quiz night and karaoke the two nights we stayed but all noise stopped at 2300.

Food is really nice quite a varied menu lots to choose from and if you go on a Sunday for a carvery it is really nice. Drinks reasonably priced and staff really friendly. The setting is really nice they have a nice outside area looking out to the harbour which is nice and it is very clean and also cosey inside the restuarant. Overall very good!

There was a party of six of us for an evening meal midweek.
We have eaten there before.
I was a little disappointed with my meal as I ordered the roast loin of pork with roasted vegetables, what I had were two pork chops (boneless) and some steamed veg of sweetcorn, carrots and pea pods. The chops were a little too pink for my liking and I thought the veg would have consisted of roasted, courgettes, onions and peppers etc like I would expect roasted vegetables to consist of.
My teenage Son ordered the Steak and Ale Pie which was said to come with "mash", it did come with mash but the herby type, he didnt eat it. If it was stated on the menu it was herby mash, he could have had an alternative. It was an expensive pie he just ate of just under £10.00.
I did explain my concerns when I paid the bill and had a reduction of one starter.
