Had to write a review on this cafe/diner as it was the best meal we had on our 5 day southwest coast path walk. The woodburner stove was fabulous as our B&B was a little cold and the weather had not been great. We sat in front of it and enjoyed complimentary home-made cheese and parsley bread with vegetable crisps. The set menu of 2 courses with a glass of wine at £17.95 was great value. We shared Cajun salmon starter with lemon mayo (delicious). The wild mushroom risotto was great and we shared a honey-roasted fig pudding. The staff were all very friendly and made us and our dogs feel very welcome. The place had a nice atmosphere and we loved the decor. Full marks!
