Description: Great little seafood restaurant in Porthleven. We went because Trip Advisor review of nearby Kota restaurant said Blue Haze was better. Now find can't give it a review as Blue Haze not listed with you! Please consider adding it. Thanks.

Dinner with friends. Cauliflower soup was good. Others had scallops with mild masala sauce which was excellent. Trio of fish was simple and well prepared. Thai green fish curry was a reasonable standard. Ice cream selection for dessert was fabulous including bubblegum flavour. We did not go for the Thursday curry night.

Small restaurant overlooking the harbour. my wife and I had an excellent, reasonably priced meal there. Charming and helpful staff.

We have dined here several times in the past. This year we had the early evening menu on 14th May. The quantities of food were good and the quality was excellent. This was real value for money. Heartened, we returned a couple of days later and ordered from the full menu. This time the food was disappointing. My crab risotto was very salty and contained very little crab. Mt wife's sea bass was a grubby grey colour and had little taste. The service was poor; the waitress was disinterested and off hand. There appeared tobe no difference in the size of portions between the early evening and main menus. Mondays have more people as the other restaurants are shut!
The decor has been improved since last year with new windows and fresh paintwork.
This place needs to be more consistent. At its best the food is a delight, with very subtle flavours.

Walked in on a very quiet night, Sunday, service was fantastic and food just perfect. 2 of us had lobster, 1 Monkfish curry and 1 Seabass. Great home made puds too. Going back for our last night here. Yum!

Went for the early diner offer (6pm to 7.30pm). Had an enjoyable 3 course meal, good selection of locally caught fish. Offer is £17.50 for the 3 courses. Starters include soup, spring rolls and squid. Mains, Fish n chips, fish pie, catch of the day etc...

Appetiser and sorbet served between courses.

Lovely views - friendly staff. Worth a look at.
