We had a one night stay at Rosemorran during our South West Coast Path. Everything was very clean and beautifully furnished. The room, which had a sea view (although the sea is a bit far away) was lovely, although not very large. The bathroom however, was quite spacious and allowed us spreading out and drying our clothes after the walk. Penny gave us a very warm welcome and was helpful giving us tips for our evening in Porthleven. Can only recommend this place.

Penny and her husband have a lovely place. Immaculately clean and very welcoming. We stayed one night during our SWCP walk. Penny even invited us to bring our Chinese takeaway back and eat it in the room! We declded to use the dining room but it is rare to get such an allowance. Breakfast was excellent. Cannot fault it.

We stayed for one night before commencing a 100 mile coastal path walk eastwards. We had stayed for one night in June 2011 at the end of a walk so we were clearly pleased with the accommodation then. I can report that nothing has changed. Penny provides a warm greeting at the bungalow door and this time we had the front bedroom with a sea view. The room was a good size, spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable. The en-suite was particularly spacious and well appointed and this turned out to be the best one of all seven guest houses that we subsequently stayed in. If you stay at Rosemorran I recommend that you forget the usual full English breakfast (which incidentally is very good) and opt for the freshly caught 'fish of the day' which you order the evening before. After a well presented dish of fresh fruit followed by cereals, we had a plate full of fresh pollack and hash browns - delicious! Penny and Robert take a genuine interest in their guests and its the sort of establishment that you would be pleased to stay in for several days. It's home from home. It's also a very easy and pleasant walk down to the harbour and well away from the noise that you often get at a small resort in the summer months. We recommend Rosemorran.

Room Tip: Get the front bedroom if possible with a distant sea view

From the moment we arrived this B and B was a delight. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful and our room was perfect - a huge and very comfortable bed and a very well-equipped bathoom.
There is also a separate lounge with TV for guests to use - a real home from home.
Breakfast was a delight with a choice of four different types of fresh fish all caught by Robert. We chose pollack as we had never tried it before and it was delicious. Breakfast also consisted of a large choice of cereals and a platter of fresh fruit as well as toast and preserves. There was great attention to detail with pristinely clean table linen and lovely crockery. I would give this place 10 out of 10 and would not hesitate to recommend it.This should be the benchmark for B and Bs.

We stayed here for four nights at the end of March, and couldn't have chosen a nicer place. Penny and Robert welcomed us warmly and we really felt at home. Our room was huge, with an immaculate bathroom and an enormous and very comfortable bed. We had a lovely view over the harbour and out to sea, and appreciated the really quiet situation. The harbour and all the restaurants, pubs, shops etc are only a couple of minutes walk away, and parking is easy just outside the house. We were treated to fresh fish for breakfast (caught by Robert) as well as generous and beautiful platters of fresh fruit and a wide range of cereals and yoghourt. The traditional breakfast was available too, if you wanted it. In addition to the lovely room, there is a comfortable sitting room with open fireplace and television which guests can use, and a pretty garden too. All in all a lovely place to stay and we can recommend it without hesitation. You'll love it!

Room Tip: The rooms at the front of the house have a marvellous sea view.
