“Quite simply the best”
Reviewed September 27, 2013

This wonderful group of three villas in the small non-touristy village of Mustafapasa is the best hotel that we stayed at in Turkey and, quite possibly, the best hotel that we have ever stayed at. The room was gorgeous, the bed was wonderful and the bathroom was a delight. We were actually surprised to see other people at breakfast because it was so quite, we thought we had the villa to ourselves. The staff was excellent and the food at The Greek House was excellent. There was even a choice of hard and soft pillows on the bed. This is how a hotel should be run. The only thing lacking is a pool and they are building one now! If you are in the Urgup area, do yourself a favour and drive another six kilometres south to the lovely village of Mustafapasa and treat yourself to the Cappadocia Estates!

Room Tip: A cave suite is more than worth the extra cost and the Villa Sinasos is highly recommended.

Traditional Turkey at its best in Cappodocia. Mustafapasa is a classic old Cappadocia village. The restaurant associated with the hotel, The Old Greek House, serves authentic, delicious Turkish food. My favorite was #23, eggplant purée topped with yogurt garlic sauce topped with ground lamb. Everyone in the restaurant and hotel is helpful, friendly and aims to please. Breakfasts are served in a cave dining room and are very nicely done. We loved our room which had a sitting area, king bedroom and a huge bathroom with jacuzzi. this is a great place to stay.

Room Tip: Loved room 111..a 2 room suite..large and quiet.

We spent 4 nights here exploring Cappadocia and we felt we were returning to our hotel much like staying with friends. The temperature here is hot during Summer but the cave rooms were comfortably cool and large as was the bathroom made out of volcanic rock. Relaxing in the courtyard we were treated to delicious home made cakes and tea and on another occasion seasonal fruits. Yunus Yilmaz the owner has a wealth of knowledge with planning and helped us create an amazing stay in Turkey. All the staff were attentive and friendly. i recommend this place to anyone that enjoys unforgettable experiences.

Room Tip: All the cave rooms are large and beautifully decorated.

An amazing experience in this Cave Hotel in a dreamy and quiet village, The staff Saim and Mustaffa were very welcoming and caring and went to extraordinary lengths to make our stay comfortable including, without even asking, arranging to have breakfast delivered to our rooms at 5am before we left.
The rooms were comfortable, big and clean and the property extremely beautiful.

I highly recommend this hotel. The location was great. Central to all the sights of the Cappadocia area but a small town. It was easy to walk around and not get lost with good restaurants a block away. (the best was the Greek House right next door) Our rooms were cool during the summer heat, the beds were so comfortable and we had a great sunken tub! The staff was attentive, helpful and smiling, we all felt very welcome. Breakfast was wonderful and bountiful with really good coffee and to top it off the staff remembered where we sat in the day before and set the table accordingly with either coffee or tea cups the next morning. Cappadocia Estates was the perfect place for our group. We will stay again and recommend to all of our friends.

The hotel is beautiful and the service near perfect. It could just benefit from an optional occidental breakfast and a swimming pool for the hottest days.
Mustafapasa is an excellent option for those that don't like the crowd and jam traffic from Goreme.
Being there, don't miss the restaurant Old Greek House, one of the best we have tried in Turkey

It was a very unique place to stay as compared to all the hotels I've been to before. Spacious cave rooms which were very well preserved. Very quite, charming and relaxing place in a small village called Mustafapasa with a population of about 1,500 people. They only serve bed and breakfast and no other meals of the day but there is an old restaurant called Old Greek House. The manager was very helpful and helped us arrange a small tour and also took time to explain us about the city.

Room Tip: if you're visiting this place, its better to take a cave room to experience rathern than another...
