This old Greek house has been converted into a restaurant and although we were the only guests in mid January the staff showed us around the old rooms and we saw wonderful carved doors and some Greek decorations. The place in summer must be pretty good as there are vines over trellises and there are outside rooms as well as inner courtyards. Considering the difficulties of catering in mid winter the hot pot was delicious. This is an experience in itself and the food is excellent.

There was a lot of variety and choices to be had. Everything was very good and the people were very happy and helpful. They would explain how your dish was prepared and how it was part of the culture. Steps to go upstairs were steep.

while enjoyind the historical atmosphere of the town it's the best place you can eat.you can order a spread of turkish mezes (appetizers) for example "stuffed wine leaves","hünkar beğendi","ezme" and as a main course i highly recommend the stew!
except the food the restaurant itself is so special it's a house which is more than 200 years old.the place is like a culture exhibit with lovely turkish rugs and antiques.also you can have good photo opportunities on their terrace.it is a family run restaurant.the women are cooking and the men do the service.so clean and neat.such a lovely family.
