Most of the staf is service minded but management is hostile. This hotel suffers from management by fear and its regulations are more important than the guests. True happiness comes when using
the word no.

We've got a room just on top of the restaurant in the internal yard. Thanks god there was a relatively good noise isolation when you close the windows and doors.
The service was great : restaurant etc. The pool was decent.

Stayed for 3 nights in Aug 2010 and enjoyed every minute in this hotel. It is kept in immaculate condition and the rooms are modern and very well equipped (well, apart from the 14" old fashioned TV, but who goes on holiday to watch TV?).

One thing I would say is that the photo on the top of trip advisor is of the 'other' Caprici hotel, which is 100yds away on the beach. Took me a while to figure this out at first, but this is the one to stay at! One thing I would say is that it might be 100m from the beach as the crow flies, but it takes a good 10mins to walk down the road, under the subway for the train track which runs in between the main strip and the beach and onto the beach.

The beach itself is not very child/family friendly - it is very pebbly and drops down quickly into the sea which causes some fairly big waves and possibly even rip tides. Having said that, the hotel pool makes up for it, lots of sun loungers, pool side bar and restaurant.

The local shops / bars / eating hostilleries outside of the hotel are not upto much either, but we did find a nice steak / kebab place on the sea front on the last night - you must try one of their flame-grilled chicken kebabs - awesome!

We have just got back from a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday! The hotel and area was a lastminute choice. It was our first time in this part of Spain and so we had no idea what to expect. We were NOT disappointed.

The hotel and its facilities were impressive. The pool area was spacious and there was always more than enough sun loungers for all. There was a jacuzzi, a baby pool and a small play area for the little ones. Plus two bars by the pool. The hotel also had a separate area where you could access the internet and another area which housed some games for all ages! Every room had its own balcony which was spacious with great views. There also was easy access to the station, the beach, shops, market stalls and other local amenities.

We have an eight year old and ensuring he has a fab time is a priority because when he has good time - we do! This hotel, in my opinion, catered perfectly for families with young children. Everyday (in the summer season) the organisers ensured that there were games and activities for the children. There were also creche like areas for the little ones. The kids loved it! Our son participated in nearly every event/game and we simply couldn't tear him away. The kids were also entertained in the evening with a different show almost every evening. In fact I found them more enjoyable than the late night music for the adults!

It's inexpensive to hop on the train to go to either Barcelona or the other small picturesque towns close by. The coast is littered with historic areas and so if you are the exploring type, you will have a wonderful time stopping off at any one of the towns.

I will have to agree with some reviews which commented on the lack of variety with regards the food at the hotel. We did not opt for all-inclusive as we wanted the flexibility. There are many restaurants close by, however all mostly just offered fast food type meals. But if you chose to venture out - like to Malgrat, which has very good restaurants or Calella, then you will not be disappointed.

I also suggest a tram ride round Santa Susana, the views from the mountains were beautiful. There is night live further down for those of you who enjoy it, with many bars and various entertainment. It is some way from the hotel, so you can still enjoy the peace!

If not already gained from our review - we had a fab time and hope you do too!
