Having used this site for long stay vacations, in excess of eight month periods I would without any hesitation recommend this campsite to couples or families seeking a well ordered, clean modern camping facillity. The site management team try to support and help guests and accomodate their requests.
In the peak season the site is often full to capacity, so if you want to secure one of the front row pitches on the edge of the beach , well worth it, it might be best to avoid July and August
I have never had problems with travellers or seen any evidence of them on the site

We stayed overnight in one of the cabins (bungalows) before going on a cruise out of Barcelona the next day. We have a motor home and have camped in the US so we thought it would be fun to "camp" on the Mediterranean. We arrived by train from the Barcelona airport and walked the short distance to the campground. We planned to spend the afternoon on the beach, but it was raining periodically so we walked the main street and explored the souvenir stores and restaurants. That evening we went to the campground store where we bought some food for dinner. That night it poured, but the next morning it was all sunshine so we were able to "experience" the beach after all. The sand was very coarse so it would be better to have water shoes. Later that morning, we took the train back to Barcelona and then a taxi to the cruise port. When we left the campground, I left my camera on the deck of our cabin. I realized it after we were on the train heading for Barcelona. After we boarded the cruise ship, I emailed the campground asking them if they had found my camera. They responded, but did not indicate that they had it. Upon our return to Barcelona, 12 days later, my wife and I took the train back to the campground in the hope that they would have my camera. My wife and our friends told me that I was wasting my time, but I thought it might be there because I believe that campers are basically honest. Upon arrival at the campground reception desk, we asked if they had my camera. To my wife's great surprise, they opened up a locked cabinet and handed me my camera. I was overjoyed because I had pictures on the disk that I could never replace. If I ever return to that area, I would certainly stay there again.

Just back from our holiday in Bon repos, two adults and three small kids. Firstly we were met by a lovely woman at reception called manuela, she couldn't have been more helpful. Our accommodation was a two storey chalet with beach frontage, lots of room for everyone and fantastic location on the beach, I had a swim every morning in the sea before breakfast. Everyday there were lots of activity for the kids and good entertainment every night. The food in the restaurant is very good and reasonable, the only downside to this holiday would be while worthwhile, there is not a whole lot in the town of Santa susanna but you could spend your entire holiday within Bon repos. My wife and kids want me to re book for next year. Mark Boyle ireland

Stayed in the apartment block past the camping area - had a superb apartment overlooking the beach and sea. The room was very large and balcony very large also. The apartment could have done with a bit of care and attention and if you visit you would need to be careful of ants ( not big ones just the little things ) - the pool was very clean and kept well - nice parking lot. Weare a family of 4 with 2 ado's - we stayed 4 nights only and I would suggest if you have a similar family size then 1 week would be perfect. The camping entertainment was excellent - the camp shop expensive - the location however is ideal if you like a nice beach with all facilities around - The town is very nice with plenty of market stalls at night - this place is for families - probably young families ( kids of 6 to 12 in my opinion ) - unless you are camping which would bring more for the kids. The apartement had 2 bathrooms and so much space for the 4 of us - it was excellent. I would recommend a week in the apartment - no problem. ( I was not in the wooden cabins on the campsite - I was in the proper apartment high rise building - recommended.

In peak season this site is rammed, and I would say that 98% of campers are Dutch.

Getting onto the beach pitches can be very difficult, however we got a pitch after 24 hrs as I happened to speak to the site owner, who instructed his workers to get me a pitch the next day.

When we pitched up the next day on the beach it became obvious many Dutch where not happy about this by the repeated asking of how long we had waited to get on the beach, and each time we answered there was obvious looks of irritation.

That night in the restaurant/entertainment area my Mrs made a remark that the place was full of gypsies (her family has past links with UK travellers) but I said she was imagining it, but over the next few days she become more certain that the site was full of gypsies, so I asked the question of a Dutch family next to us. They advised us that in July and August 90% of the Dutch are gypsies from a certain area of Holland (forgot area) and that as long as you respect them they will leave you alone.

Sure enough these gypsies were well behaved, and unlike British gypsies, they kept their children under control.

The site is also used by Dutch Hells Angles during July and August, but they remained very private, and unless you knew they where there, you would not know they were there.

Two pitch managers work their, Henry from 15:00 hrs who was twice the the mayor of Pineda. It is worth noting the Bon Repos owner is the current mayor of Santa Susanna. Mehmet is the other Pitch Manager during the day, and it is him who seems to control who goes where, and this chap is in the pockets of the Dutch, who bribe him to get onto the beach side pitches, whith 50 to 100 Euros passing hands daily. Mehmet was not happy with us because the site owner instructed we was to put on the front, an that meant he got no back hander from us.

The beech shelf is not good for none swimmers or young children as it is so steep, indeed with 6 or 7 paces you are up to you neck in water, however the on site pool is more then enough to make up for the shelf issue.

The restaurant is a real plus, and was used by us several times during our stay, and any fussy eaters you have in your family will find food they like on the menu.

Having waste connection on the pitch is a major plus, and if you have a Macerator you just flick a button when needed, and only have to get manual with drains when you disconnect when leaving the site. If you do not have a macerator you will need a means of connecting to a tube that allows a standard hose to be inserted.

There is a mini super market on site with half reasonable prices, but a little limited, however there is a Carrefour supermarket at the back of the resort, and can be walked with 15 mins, however is gets very hot so wise to take the tourist train (looks like Thomas the tank engine, and runs around the resort, and outside the super market, or take a granny shopping trolley with you.

200 mtrs to the left of the site is a train station that is a real boon to explore other areas. we went to Barcelona for the day, and had a great time, especially around old quarter (medieval) where all age groups will enjoy. watch out for the ticket attendants at the Train station because they will short change you if you are not aware, as happened to us.

Overall this site is great, and we will return back to it, but not in July or August.

Perfect relax on holidays! you can realy feel that yo rest. Location is Excellent (see front), Staff- english speaking, if sth is wrong they will fix it. Swimming pool, entertainment every evening, great food. Camping is realy small but cute and charming the only minus is that they do not provide any windmill or climate control in it and it is realy freaking hot :)
Nightlife is adorable, not only for realy young people but for seniors also. I will be back there for sure :)
