Perfecty location right on the beach in a beautiful little bay. Hotel was charming and the owners and staff were all lovely including the hotelresident dog!
Restuarant was good as was the bar food. breakfast excellent and had on balcony in room which was lovely.
Parking is provided 2 minutes walk away but watch out for super efficient traffic cops who will ticket you within a few minutes as they did with us while unloading....but the hotel owners soon sorted this out and managed to get this waived...very grateful!
Room had a lovely view. Definetely worth the extra for a sea view.
Overall a really lovely place to stay. Walk to palafrugell very pleasant and easy. Try and visit the Cap Roig gardens nearby as fantastic place.
Will be back!!

Room Tip: used hotel website.

It's hard to know where to begin. We were given room 302 on the top floor in the middle of the hotel so it had to be the best water view possible. The room is lovely, light, beautiful terrace, fine full bathroom with water pressure I would kill for at home. Each floor has it's own sitting area if you need to get out of the room with photo's and art and books. There is a self sustaining 10' x 10' pond on the 3rd floor with gold fish, algae and plants. "Pep", Joseph, the owner of the hotel speaks excellent English, and is always friendly and totally helpful. There is a bar and restaurant with fine food and company. It's late March so the streets are empty. The sea walk to Casella de Palafrugell is a short walk from the hotel as are the 150+ steps to the higher points of Llafranc to the left of the hotel.

We were upgraded to a room with terrace and seaview - absolutely stunning and a real treat for us. Beautiful beach right in front of the hotel with free towels to take to the beach (so your room ones don't get all sandy!)

Breakfast is served till late in the morning and is a fantastic spread. Ate in the hotel one night. Food was good although quite expensive. Not many other places opened in Llafranc in October (we were there just at the end of the season)

We knew this hotel well from many previous visits to Llafranc but had only used the restaurant or bar facilities and never stayed before. We found the hotel had a lovely ambience; it was clean and comfortable and we loved our sea-front room - listening to the waves at night is the only way to fall asleep! The family and staff make you feel you're a guest in their home and are exceptionally friendly and helpful - we used their computer in reception to rebook our flights home when a General Strike was announced in Spain! We had to leave very early in the morning so were offered a packed breaksfast to take with us - much appreciated.
Yes - the resort can get very busy in high season and is hugely popular with second homers from Barcelona and surrounding areas so common sense tells you which time of year to pick to suit your requirements. But for somewhere to stay while you explore this unspoilt and beautiful coastline of Catalunya (or while you just lie on the beach and relax with a book) we can't think of anywhere better in this price range!

The hotel llevant was a wonderful last minute find. My partner and I had decided to leave the last part of our trip to spain open-ended and eventually settled upon Llafranc, which had been highly recommended to us. As most hotels for llafranc were already booked, we settled upon hotel llevant. We were not disappointed! The hotel staff are friendly, especially the owners who we found to go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, just steps from the beach and right on the main street. The breakfasts that are included are simply incredible. A large selection of eggs, meats cheeses, continental fare, fruits etc. We looked forward to our morning indulgences! Yes, the bathrooms are a little outdated and could use a little upkeep, but they are clean. Besides, who goes on vacation to spend extended time in the bathroom?!

Llafranc is a small and quiet town, quieter than its neighbour Calella. If you want nighlife, this is not the place for you however if a small and beautiful town with good restaurants suits your needs, llafranc is a wonderful option.

Hotels in Llafranc and Palafrugell book out well in advance, and as I’d left the booking a little late (about a month in advance), this wasn’t my first choice. This was the cheapest option available at the time, and the room fell short of expectations given the price.

The location was pretty good – right on the main street. It’s worth noting that we drove in, I have no idea if public transport would be a viable option.

The front desk staff spoke English well enough and were reasonably helpful. Wireless internet was freely available from the lobby, but we were unable to access it from the room.

The room itself was a double overlooking the street, almost directly over the front entrance. It was a bit of a non-descript view, the back of the hotel had nicer views but were pricier. The bed was nice and firm but not hard, one of the most comfortable on our trip, and the pillows were just about right, not too flat. Unlike most European hotels, the double was actually a double bed, which made a nice change.

The room was quite small, about 4x3m, plus bathroom. The room had a wide range of toiletries – shower gel, soap, shower cap, shampoo, moisturiser, tissues, shoe polisher, toothpaste/brush, razor and cream.

The room was air conditioned, but it seemed break or perhaps we couldn’t figure out the controls; either way, the room ended up being warmer than we would have liked halfway through the night.

As with our hotel in Barcelona, the room had no fridge, which meant we couldn’t keep our cava cold! However, the hotel staff let us use their staff fridge – note however that we couldn’t drink it in the restaurant, just in our room.

Breakfast was included in the price of the room and was amazing. It included pastries, cheeses, jamon, toast, bread, tomatoes, eggs, cold meats, and other standard continental breakfast fare. Where this one differed from most others was the high quality of the food and range of condiments available, and the ability to cook your own things like bacon . Highly recommended.

The other great thing about this hotel is the restaurant. I don’t normally eat at hotel restaurants but gave this one a go, and had one of the best paellas I’d ever had. The menu was more than your typical tourist fare, it had a range of interesting dishes available. The service was great too, an overall good experience and I’d go there again if I had the chance.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a short stay only, for a longer stay I would consider other options or book one of the more expensive rooms. I also definitely recommend the hotel food!
