Just returned after two weeks here. Had a wonderful time. Frontline Apartments-never had to look for a sunbed, some days I was at the pool by myself. Spotless and well maintained. Very relaxing time. Restaurants and a couple of bars nearby. Cafeteria adjacent to complex serves lovely food and is very cheap and a large beer was only £1 50. Will return again.

Room Tip: All rooms are lovely.

we stayed here for 2 weeks 6th-20th july 2011,

the apartments are lovely and spacious, if you book your apartment direct with the reception you get maid service every day, the whole of the complex although looks huge really only has a maximum of 16 apartments per floor and there are 4/5 floors!

it is well looked after and the landscaped gardens are cared for every day, the pool area although small, was enough, there was a 10 min walk into the next town of San Blas, which has everything for a relaxing holiday, bars restaurants, 1 night club, supermarket, gift shops galore! banks, the coast path is excellent to walk day or night, ( with the exception of one part where they havent completed, but still passable day time)

we ate at the el nautico terrace at lunch times or at Marias restaurant at the el nautico suites, Sol and Patricia are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble, the menu in the evening is small but the food is all home made and well priced, we asked for paella, which wasnt on the menu and Patricia and her chefs made it for us with no problems, (we had to give a days notice) and it was the best i had tasted, we would highly recommend eating there.

all in all the whole place is ideal for a relaxing holiday away from all the hustle and bustle of the concrete jungle of los christianos and playa de las americas, and its only a 20 min bus ride if you do want to venture there.

we will definately stay here again.

Reviewed July 23, 2010

We stayed at El Nautico Suites at the beginning on July after renting an apartment online. We chose Golf Del Sur because it was so close to the airport, literally 10 mins, and we chose the apartment because it looked really upmarket. We were delighted with everything. Resort was clean, uncrowded and well placed if you wanted to visit Las Americas for shopping which we did. The taxi cost about 15 euro from airport and approx 20 euro to Las Americas, 15 mins away. We didn't hire a car but they were available.
Whilst we were there we were lucky if there were 6 people around the pool. It really was quiet, which we loved. Probably only about a dozen apartments had occupants. Summer is not their busy time as most owners seem to go for a few months over the winter.
We loved the terrace cafe attached to the property and ate here most lunchtimes. Very reasonably priced too. At night, we would go up to the square or down to the marina to eat. There is so much choice. 2 nights we had a take away delivered to the suite and sat on the balcony watching the waves crashing on the rocks, just perfect. Prices of food and drink were very reasonable with lots of specials on offer to attract you in.
The only negative thing that I can say about the place is the amount of 'ghost' buildings that have just been left, mid construction, when the recession hit 2 years ago. It's such a shame that this beautiful little resort has these blotting the landscape.
This really is the place if you want to sleep, unwind and relax and we will definitely return.

This was where we spent our week in February ... and what a treat it was. Great rooms, so quiet and relaxing. Beautifully furnished and wonderful helpful staff.
The situation is all you can ask, so close to the sea and beautiful vistas all around.
We loved the pool area, so clean and quiet.
We loved the daily cleaning, the huge smeg fridge, the air con and the electric shutters.
But most of all we loved hearing the sea and sitting n our lovely balcony, and sitting in their cafe on the corner of the block with the most amazing views

Great apartment hotel, very quiet, close by amenities. Could use a professional cleaning, especially area rugs. Private Owner should provide information on working of appliances, phone costs per unit through hotel, additional cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaner). Apartment will need refurbishing shortly due to wear and tear only.

Stayed at El Nautico for 1 week in March. Great accomodation, everything you needed, fully equiped kitchen, internet access if needed, sky tv and patio doors lead onto large terrace with views of the sea and pool. Well maintained and secure. Will def return. Very quiet however and San Blas is also quiet - but very relaxing..
