We stayed at the Altamadores for one week from the 26 August.
Apartments were clean and very quiet, albeit a bit small for a family of four, kids had to sleep on the sofas which were described in the brochure as sofa beds which werent but this didnt seem to bother them, we only found out on the day before we left that we had to ask reception and they would supply us with sofa beds. There was no air con in the rooms but found the ceiling fans to be adequate, we had room 209 which was at the front of the hotel with fantastic sea views. The food was of a good standard, plenty of choice especially for the kids. I found myself going up for seconds most nights!! The chinese theme night was lovely.
Self service bar was a great idea but could have done with being open until 12 instead of 11pm.
Entertainment was a bit hit and miss depending on what you liked, the hypnotist night was brilliant never laughed so much.... I thought that Jamie G did a fantastic job and I loved his pool side quizzes every afternoon.
Overall it was a very relaxing holiday and didnt want to come home, hope to be going back next year, met some lovely people who made the holiday even more special. Diane, Paul, Chooch, Issy, Steve and family from Walsall, Dev and family from Walsall.More
