We are are currently at the Vistamar and, apart from a morning in Puerto Rico and a day in the picturesque Mogán, we spent all of our time within the hotel complex.
Check in was smooth and we were ushered into the restaurant for dinner before we had even got as far as our rooms. The rooms are well equipped with fridge, daily supplies of water and a room safe. The food was very good. We mainly ate in the main restaurant and there was always something for everyone. I wasn’t as impressed with lunches at the Sea Breeze restaurant where the options were limited but we didn’t starve!
Entertainment was ok and I feel that is down to individual taste but it was evident the team worked hard. I did like the karaoke.
One outstanding feature of this hotel is the sun bed situation. I have been on package holidays since the early 1980s and sun beds at the Vistamar are plentiful and were available whenever required.
My only negative comment is that I thought the shower towels were rather small. We are both sorry we are not here for longer than 7 days! Well done RIU Vistamar!More
