We were on hols from 19th July to 31st: 4 children & 2 adults all inclusive. We had a great holiday. In general the resort is a busy self-catering and all inclusive resort that caters pretty well to all demands. Reception with Kim, and Juan is top class and they look to help your every request. Both are true professionals. The bar staff led by the superb Miguel but ably assisted by Ben, my favourite Chiro (for being different) and the lovely Bredina are all excellent who truly work very hard to ensure everyone has a wonderful holiday. Our room was a 2 bed apartment which was good, a little warm at the start but after a couple of days you get used to it. There is air conditioning available from reception for a hefty E50p.w. we passed. Safe is E20 for the 2 weeks with a refundable E10 deposit. There are plenty of beds every day but for those who only come along at 1pm they will have a difficulty finding 2 or 3 together. Plenty of english, welsh and scottish people present with a sprinkling of Irish and Spanish. Pool is very good, clean and well used. Entertainment is adequate but is an area that needs attention. There are no morning activities and the afternoon activities start at 2pm but leave a lot to be desired. Bingo at 4pm daily is good and everyone participates. Evening entertainment is not bad. Some good bird acts, the rock and hypnotist acts were all good. In general it was ok. For the smallies 2-6 though Pete the DJ did not try very hard and in general I think Pete needs to shake it up a bit. Food: as everyone is saying breakfast is an excellent fry, with cereals, yoghurts etc. Lunch: is generally the same every day, burgers, pasta, hotdogs, squid, excellent salad and desert, dinner in the evening has a wide range of foods on offer with the chefs trying a different dish or 2 every night. The barbeque night which is included in the all-inclusive is fantastic (the poor chef was under pressure) ribs, drumsticks and the steak were all to die for all accompanied by rice, pasta or chips & veggies and salad. The Chinese night I thought was only ok. For self-catering you can also take part for E11 adult of E6 for child. The food is very good and the kitchen does a really good job, after 2 weeks it does get repetitive but it would be no different at home. Drinks definitely do not have the same pizazz as at home but there are plenty of local brands to choose from - hard to get drunk which is no bad thing. Overall the resort with the play areas is a very good holiday made better by the quality of the staff. We did venture out to Amoderes Beach which is outstanding. Taxi is E3. Umbrella and 2 beds E9. Did the boat trip for the friday market to Playa Morgan E10 adult, E6 child, a great day out. it really is a nice town; The Europa centre close to the apts 5 mins for me was not good, definitely not buggy friendly. The main centre in town is far better and only E3 in the taxi. We used resort hoppa from the airport and they run an excellent service. Overall the weather was great and we all had a great time and it is recommended for families
