This resort is exactly as it is in the pictures, beautiful spacious apartments which are very modern, very clean all around the resort, nice friendly staff and good facilities.

The hotel staff are always friendly and work extremely hard all day.
The reception staff: - There are some excellent reception staff at the hotel, very friendly and helpful.
Cleaners:- We had the most fantastic cleaner I have EVER come across in any hotel (Room 218), she always had a smile on her face and worked really hard, the cleaning was impeccable. She is a real asset to the hotel.
The Reps: - Our Rep Richard was very knowledgeable about the local area. He was incredibly helpful, gave advice on more than one occasion.
Swap Boxes: - There is a Swap Box at the hotel where departing guests can leave anything they don’t want to take home. Before you go the supermarket, check the swap box first….and don’t forget to leave it when you go home so someone else can appreciate it.
We didn't do any of the nightly entertainment as we went out all the time. It is worth checking out the Irish bars The Harp, McCool's and The Shamrock Bar.

We did not use the Restaurant but had some fantastic Take Aways from the pool bar. There are plenty of nice restaurants in Puerto Rico to choose from.
There are 3 Happy Hours (the last one from 9pm - midnight!) which is great value for money. All of the Bar Staff were fantastic, friendly, hard working and approachable.

Only complaint..... The 'towels on the sunbeds situation' was not very well monitored - not great as some people reserve sunbeds then go out for the whole day!! There were nowhere near enough sun beds and we only managed to spend 3 days by the pool...out of the 14 days we visited. Even then we could not get beds together until late afternoon. On one occasion I did get a bed, the towel that lay on the bed next to me all day had a lovely relax in the sun while its owner disappeared for the day returning at about 4:00 to take it home. On the positive side, this meant we got to visit other areas of Puerto Rico which is a beautiful resort.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again!

Stayed 5th - 19th August and Loud Loud Loud is the only way to describe this hotel! The music goes on at 12 noon & stays on all day, even at 6pm when there is only a few people around the pool the music is still blaring. Don't think you can escape to your rooms for a nice drink on the balcony either as all you can hear is the thump thump thump from the base levels of the music. Even though the rooms are clean and modern the noise factor ruins it. Also the pool never seemed clear and had to be half emptied twice whilst there, once everyone banned from entering the pool for a couple of hours, met many parents who's little ones had ear infections! Booked through Thomsons and asked for a high room, got level 2(out of 6/7 depending what side you on), turned out if you have a room with a pool view Thomsons only have level 1 or 2, thanks for telling me on booking Thomsons (kept that quiet when you said would request a high room!) The noise from the teenagers is also a nightmare, they seem to party until 2am and yes you guessed it by the pool under all the rooms so little chance of sleep. If you like a relaxing holiday & like to enjoy your balcony for a drink before venturing out in the evenings and on return I would advise NOT to book this hotel and to avoid Thomsons at all cost. The rep service was also useless, Will not return to this hotel or book with Thomsons again

Room Tip: As you won't get a high room avoid the hotel

For a 3 star hotel this had the best room (air conditioning excellent) and pool area of any hotel we have stayed in.Location for Puerto Rico is excellent however those with mobility issues either choose somewhere else or catch taxi's as most things are on a hill or require walking up steps. That aside Puerto Rico is an excellent resort with something for everyone. The Restaurants by the Harbour being of a better quality than those in the much louder commercial centre (however each to their own).
Back to the Hotel - Rooms Spacious and well maintained, cleaned well. Hotel staff friendly, Leo top man enthusiastic but not pushy. No Issues with noise.
Only gripes i would have although did not necessarily effect me on my holiday would be in this day and age all hotels should have free wifi and having to pay for the TV strikes me as a money making scheme surely the holiday firms could and should get these waived for customers.

Room Tip: We has room 120 overlooking pool above stage and we never experienced any issues with noise. Recepti...

Leo the entertainer was just fab he got everyone joining in with all activities without being overbearing, I joined in with the aqua aerobics everyday and he maid it fun. happy hour was 3 times aday which was very good ,food was nice aswell we went selfcatering so my boys ate at the pool bar most days and enjoyed it,the town centre was a 10minute walk away which was a nice walk there and back perfect location really, lots of dino supermarkets which are cheap enough.

stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment (dad,mum,3 girls of 10,8,7 years of age and grandad gangnam style!).rooms very comfortable inc 2 bathrooms/showers.2 balconys on floor 5 with slight sea views away from the pool area right at the end of the complex next to the wall but nice and quiet.leo is a fantastic asset to the hotel, kids loved him. aqua aerobics was v funny but leo needs a new stopwatch!.richard the tomson rep although I understand new to the job is very helpful and happy to chat to make sure we have had a good time at the hotel and on trips.lauren and maddie in the kids club were fab(raegan, keisha and scarlett went whenever we wasn't on trips).francis in the restaurant was a lovely guy and Jorge brilliant with the kids(as was walber).beach 10 min walk one way, commercial centre the same the other way, although hilly my 70 year dad coped ok.submarine trip to mogan was a good trip and if you go on a Friday it is market day too(go on the water taxi, instead of the bus).palmitos park/aqualand is good but the highlight trip for us was the music hall tavern trip.the "ladies" are very funny but not over the top so ok for older kids to go too.met some great family's too and we are booking up with some for next year.

Our family of 4 (Mum, Dad, teenage daughter & son) had a great time at the Revoli in Jul/Aug. Enjoyed the daily water aerobics, water polo and the hotel pool (when we weren't exploring the island), evening shows, daft quizzes and bingo with Leo the entertainment host - nice guy - manages all different personalities with skill to make sure all are happy - no pressure, which was nice! Nice food at the hotel and very pleasant staff and excellent maid Mary. As usual, there are SELFISH people up at the crack of dawn hanging towels out on sunbeds despite the management saying this wasn't allowed before 10:00 am... seems this was slightly more enforced at weekends when locals were expected down to the pool though... but not in the week for the Thomson customers/hotel guests that weren't prepared to be so inconsiderate by getting up at 7:30 to bag beds…. ggggrrr.
Scuba diving was fabulous at BlueExplorer and the instructor Michael was a real gentleman in looking after us as novice divers - thanks to him and his colleagues we had an incredible day diving! Palmitos park and Aqualand was lovely but I strongly advise taking some drinks and food to reduce the cost of their hugely expensive rip-off prices! (that also don't match displayed prices when you check receipt!!). Also, don't bother hiring a dinghy float the moment you walk through the gate at Aqualand - ignore them telling you will need one... all the rides that need them have plenty for free! ... you will need cheap flip-flops too... wow the floor is red hot in the sun!!! great fun!
There are some nice restaurants down by the beach but we were absolutely sick of some of the intimidating and almost aggressive pestering there and in the commercial centre to enter their restaurants - please Thomson, tell them this is spoiling holidays! Some are lovely though and leave you look at their menus un-pestered - lovely!... I can recommend La Cantina in particular and most of the restaurants in that row ... and a nice Italian place in the commercial centre was lovely too (Piccolino I think?).
Also, who decided 11 years old meant adult prices - rip off!
Porto de Mogan was lovely and we went there a couple of times by water taxi - great places to eat! Parascending was ace too!
