Newly refurbished and very smart. The staff are efficient and helpful. Everything was spotless. Good pillows, which makes such a difference. The complicated wardrobe doors were off the runners when we arrived but handy husband put them back on. Good view of the pool. Leo the entertainer is worth his weight in gold. Very funny and not pushy. Could do without the loud music at the pool all day. We were on the 1st.floor just above the stage area and found it very intrusive. Impossible to get a sun lounger before about 4pm as towels were put on them all by 9am. Should really enforce the rules. Quite a steep 10 min walk up and down to the town and beach. Puerto Rico itself is ghastly. So over developed and full of tacky shops selling nylon football shirts and other such tat. Found a few good restaurants but there are too many burger and fries type places and Irish theme pubs. This resort might appeal to some but we felt we made a bad choice. Ok if you like McDonalds!

Room Tip: All rooms face the same direction but the lower floors only see the pool .The higher floors look out...

Just returned from 2 weeks at the Revoli. First time self catering and was unsure how this would be but shouldn't have worried. Kitchen in apartment basic but fine, whilst snacks and meals available on site at reasonable prices and dozens in the resort. We had room 226 which got sun from about midday till about 6.00 pm which was an added bonus. Rooms immaculate and cleaned regular. The hill that people had mentioned is only a 5 minute stroll or taxi for 2euros. A special mention to Leo who is as good as everyone has mentioned and the best entertainer we have ever seen. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning.

Room Tip: Room 226 gets sun on an afternoon. Try and get a room beside this.

We are just back today from a two week holiday at the Revoli. Our party consisted of four, myself and my two daughters (12 and 21 years) and my daughter's boyfriend. There was plenty for us to do, water aerobics, bingo, water polo, quizzes and the professional shows, Leo kept us entertained from start of the day to the end and we had some good debates with him, he remembered everyone's names and where they came from and made sure no-one was left out. The hotel itself was lovely and clean, lots of clean towels, and was cleaned on a regular basis, our balcony had not a great view but was 18ft long and both the bedroom and lounge had french windows leading out onto the balcony. The pool area was spotless too and we had the same four sun loungers every day so no problems there, we went self catering but had lunch every day at the pool bar, Jorge and Silvanu work their socks off making sure you are quickly served, as for the resort itself would recommend down at the harbour on the right side there is a great cock tail bar about 6 euro's but the size of the glass is massive, in the shopping centre, head to the right and don't go through the middle (you get stopped and hassled to look at goods and food) you have the Greedy Pig, The Taj Mahal (not massive portions but really good value and tasty) and the Chinese Buffet (not the panda one!) and on the third level the Horseshoe Bar we found these to be the best places to eat for value and taste and for shopping...'Shoes and Shoes' and they have lovely handbags that match again not expensive. The hotel is on the first level and as everyone says walk down and get a taxi back up 2 euro's 80 cents, we a;so went to the Europa Centre taxi up and down El Toro for food and the Piano bar for entertainment, all in all we had a great time and would consider going back again, only sad thing was that we had to come home.

Room Tip: No bingo wings after Leo's aerobics! lol

Best Holiday ever! Loved every minute of my stay here! Leo the entertainer was fantastic, he kept everyone entertained with quizzes, bingo, evening shows, kids clubs and disco, killer pool, killer darts, water polo and the dreaded 'aqua-aerobics!' and Christmas aerobics, hilarious, the guy doesn't really know when to stop when it comes to circles!!! Ouch is all I can say!! lol... Maids were friendly and helpful, waiters and bar staff were amazing, Jorge, Silviu and the guys. Bar food was good, 3 happy hours a day, 2-3pm, 6-7pm and then from 9-12am at night (smirnoff ice, strongbow, bacardi breezers, local and some international spirits included). Location was great on a steep bank though, no problem walking down but definately recommend a taxi back, only 3 euros. Supermarket on site was very reasonably priced, but if you wanted theres a cheap supermarket 5 minutes walk up the hill, downhill was McDonalds and the centre where there is plenty of bars, restaurants and shops to choose from! Can't wait to go back and believe me, I never say that about holiday apartments! :-)

Room Tip: Choose an upgrade to your room before you go, as some overlook a huge wall which separates the hotel...

I had an excellent week at this hotel. The room was clean and cleaned 4 times over the 7 days. The staff were amazing and Leo the entertainer was amazing and kept everyone entertained with bingo, water work out, different shows in the evening and got to know most of the people and was great with the kids. The hotel is on a hill but only a short work to the beach or harbour. The shop up the road also has loads of gluten free stuff!! the food at the hotel was the best we had on the holiday and drinks were cheap as they have happy hour once at 2 and again at 9. I would recommend this hotel and cant wait to go back :0)
