As a family with small kids, Playa Senator hotels are always a good idea.
The facilities were good the only real issue was that the swimming pools were too small for the amount of people that were there. Great for throwing around small children but not enough room to have a swim yourself!
We had a suite which was excellent and the normal rooms were inoffensive enough. Everything was very clean.
The staff were really helpful and friendly, but don't expect any english speakers,
this hotel really is for the Spanish market.
Food was good and varied and a positive army of chefs were on hand to cook up fresh food. The all inclusive deal was OK but a bit limited for snacks for the kids, but they survived!
The beach is only two minutes away but is very small at high tide, so gets very crowded.
So if you have small children, go for it but be warned it can get a little claustrophobic.
