We regularly go to Hotel Playa de la Luz and this restaurant is just a short walk from there. Lovely menu (the kebabs are to die for) and the service is great. Nice outdoor seating. Not expensive but lovely, lovely, lovey.

We took a short stroll from the Hotel Playa de la Luz to have a family supper. it was actually the first restaurant we came to and Im so glad we chose it. The food was delcious , service excellent , think it could be a family run place. I speak Spanish so no problem , we all enjoyed the starters , the different fish dishes , um , the swordfish , the grouper , the prawns , the sea bass , all excellently cooked , the olives were amazing , so rich , and the tast of their olive oil was fab. Glad we stopped here , it gave us a lovely enjoyable night.

Ate here the other night after taking a walk from my hotel. My first waitress didn't speak one word of English, so she went to grab a younger man (maybe her son?) who waited on me. He was very pleasant and attentive. The wine was good and my appetizer was even better - a prawn salad that was so good I took out my camera to take a picture of it. However, he recommended the tuna for an entree, and it was a disaster. I understand from talking to others that it was in the normal style for the area, but for me, I was unable to eat it. It was kind of bitter, dark, extremely fatty, and fell apart with the consistency of custard. I simply couldn't get more than a couple of bites down.

It is hard to fault the restaurant when the food was presented as ordered in the local style, but still, I am shuddering thinking about that tuna. The prawn salad was so good I would have loved to have tried something else on the menu and probably given the restaurant an excellent rating.
