We loved Casale Dei Fornici. It is a really beautiful and remote hotel, ideal for relaxing. The rooms were quite basic but very tasteful. The pool was small but quiet and so relaxing. The staff, led by Vito and his wife, were lovely and friendly. And the food and wine were fantastic - far better than the overpriced restaurants in town.
Best to have a car but we got a cab into town one night, which was 15 Euros.
Overall incredible value for money. We would definitely go back.

This b&b is surrounded by olive orchards and market gardens (fenel, parsley, lettuce) with lots of irrigation. It is about 5 km from Polignano a Mare so you need a car to get around. The grounds are beautifully manicured with lots of flowers in bloom.
The rooms have a very small balcony with clothes lines. There is a/c and tv but if you have a room n3ar the end the wifi signal is weak.
Shower is fine but if you are a big person it might be tight.
Pool area is great, with shade or sun and the parking lot is totally obscured and not a problem.
Breakfast is typically italian. Coffes could be much hotter. Dinner menu is varied and reasonably priced.
If we are in the area we will return.

This Agriturismo kind of place was really in the middle of nowhere, a nice little oase with tasteful garden. The pool was not even close so big like it seems on the pictures, also surrounded by parking places.

Did not eat any dinner there just breakfast. Classic italian breakfast with lots of sweets and cookies. First day they had fresh fruits and "normal" bread, but not the following three mornings.

The beds were also really hard. Like a wooden bed. The AC did not work in the beginnig. After reseting the fuse it started for 10 min and then dead again. In the early morning the power was out for a second and when it came back the AC started to work again quite noisy.

Cheap and clean, not more, not less.
