Spectacular stay, where do I start...
Pros
- at arrival the owner/manager(?) gave me a wonderful mini tour of hotel and even a bit of history of the town ... The guy was a great storyteller!
- everything about the place was very modern, clean simple design cozy t same time.
- my single room had flat screen tv, we with everything, little seating area by window with breathtaking view.
- BREAKFAST! wow! Best food ever. I think it was all hand made from the mother + sister.
Pastries, not too sweet, fruits, etc etc, one of the best ones I've had in a hotel, and you eat in the rooftop w/ the amazing view of polignano cliffs and beach.
- location central, 1/block from the beach.

Cons
- the hotel (and town) were pretty quiet and calm, but I could hear the people in the next room
- wifi was only working on bottom floor.
-not exactly a bnb feel. The place had more of a hotel look, but the staff and breakfast Gave it more charm, ... If you really want a bnb home-like feel you may be a bit disappointed.

All in all, I LOVED my stay! the bnb and staff had a huge hand in making Pollignano that much more magical for me. I arrived here by accident but I found my gem in southern italy!

Our first trip to Polignano will not be our last, nor our stay at Malu. The hotel is extremely well run with great advice from Paolo and his family for restaurants and local sites. The sea views from the terrace and our room were panoramic, and the location of the hotel easily accessible by car. Breakfast was a real treat with homemade torts of exceptional quality made by the namesakes of the hotel. No wonder the song Volare originated here. Thank you, Hotel Malu, for your kindness.

Room Tip: Yes, street sweepers wave at you in the early morning from below the sea view rooms, but I found tha...

This B&B only opened 2 years ago and the family who own it are right to be proud of it. We had a suite which was not large but had a lovely little balcony with stunning views across the town. Everything is modern, bright and spotless. Breakfast on the roof terrace was a treat with home made yoghurt and cakes. The location is perfect as it is a five minute walk to the old town with loads of restaurants, bars and cafés. Maybe we were lucky with parking as we were able to find space in the free parking area in the little square just in front of the B&B. As others have said Paolo and the rest of the family were very welcoming and helpful.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view and a balcony

Family owned and directly by them runned. Paolo is a great guide and extremly friendly and helpful. Fantastic view from the terrace or hotel room for the sea and old town are breathtaking. Few steps from the centre of Polignano - and far away from the main street. 20m from the Domenico Modugno monument. Homemade pastries are EXCELLENT. Breakfast on the roof terrace is wonderful (especially with sight for the old town & sea). Room was clean and furniture were new.
Generally fresh breeze from the sea makes that we weren't using A/C in the room.
But ..... you should do it especially in the night, because in the early morning dustman made small wake up :)
It should be first place to stay in Polignano !! Thanks for everything !
